Tolani was an athiest in his past life, after all if God existed, why would he need to suffer so much at the hands of his family and as such he found anything to do with the supernatural as just rubbish used to deceive others, but there was proof right in front of him, he couldn't help becoming a bit excited, it took him a long time before he finally calmed down and began to read the rest of the information.

The first part of the information explained what the eye of the gods was, this cube in front of him was created by Orisha Obatala using something called a primordial star, apparently it was a rare starlight that only appeared once every million years and when it appeared, it had the ability to take the light of other stars and use it to strengthen itself, the Eye of the Gods had only three main abilities, The first one was to record and store, it could record anything and store it inside itself, this included the memories of others, the skills of others and also any and all information it deems useful, each scenes that was being depicted on different sides of the cube was an event it had witnessed and recorded, as he kept reading, a particular line caught Tolani's attention which said
"I have assimilated with more than one hundred million tomes of knowledge..." Tolani looked at the cube and asked, "what do you mean by tomes of knowledge?" New information immediately appeared in Tolani's head as he asked that and immediately his face became filled with shock as he looked at the cube, the cube was taken away by the Europeans when they came during the colonial era, they deemed it as a pretty african artifact without much use and therefore passed it around, for many years, it had being passed around from organization to organization, libraries, museums and people who liked to collect artifacts, it moved around this way until it ended up in the library in which Tolani died, everytime it was moved to different places, it would absorb the knowledge from different objects like books, letters, maps and even computers and store those knowledge within itself, it had even used the computers in the library to infiltrate the web and absorbed all the knowledge and information it deemed necessary. This cube was basically a giant mass of information, it was like a supercomputer of knowledge, if its claimed it was the second most knowledgeable thing in the world, no one would dare claim number one, if those Europeans who took the cube from Africa and passed it around knew what they had given away, he was sure they would surely die from regret, the cube was basically an endless source of knowledge for anyone who possessed it.

The second ability was access, the master of the cube was allowed to access the information within the cube and any skills the master has seen would be able to be used by the master furthermore the cube would refine the skill, discarding all unnecessary movements and flaws within the skill before presenting the information back to the master, there were requirements for some skills as well, if his body couldn't keep up with the strain of using the skill, he wouldn't be able to access that particular skill, for example the spearmanship he had used to defeat Gbolahan earlier was the simplest and basic form of spearmanship so it was easy for him to use but if he wanted to access stronger spearmanship skills body training was an absolute must, aside from this he could also store and access the memories of other people but the person would have to be dead for this ability to work. Tolani immediately knew that he must have used this ability subconsciously during his fight with Gbolahan earlier, the spear thrust he displayed was something he had seen the man doing although his own version felt improved and faster than the one he had seen. The ability to look through the memories of others interested Tolani as well but he would need the person to be dead before he could that, he put that to the back of his mind and started laughing as he felt this cube was the best thing to ever happen to him, he almost felt pity for those warriors whose skill he would be stealing, imagine it, they had spent their whole life training and perfecting their skills but someone just came out of nowhere and copied it taking it for his own, even improved upon it, he was sure they would be so frustrated to the point where they would want to lose their minds.
