The boys and i walked into the Sheriff's station.
Donna was standing behind her desk.
Me "Sheriff. Hey"
Donna smiled at us "you three are a sight for sore eyes!"
Then she hugged us.
Dean "you working all 10 00 lakes now? this isn't usually your beat"
Donna "Just Larsen County. What with the cutbacks and all...For the most part ,been tater tots and lemon drops except for this doozy. I mean, when you get a call about a killer Easter Bunny, you don't know what to think"
Dean "well, you think crazy"
Donna nodded "guy's real strong, too. Lashed out at several officers. Took a while team just to get him into custody. But that's not the weirdest part. "
I chuckled amused "what? Bunny head won't come off?"
Donna looked at me surprised "yeah, exactly"
I smiled proudly.
Sam and Dean looked at each other before looking at me surprised.
I asked confused "but are you sure it won't go off?"
Donna nodded "Tried everything short of a chainsaw. but it's really stuck. Who knows? could be nothing. Guy could just have a big melon like my Uncle Wally. But ever since i've seen what goes bump in the night, i am not taking any chances"
Sam nodded "hey, you did the right thing. For sure"
Dean "Maybe. I'm just still not 100 % sure this is our kind of a case. But if you got a wild hare ...."
He smiled.
Donna smiled when she understand.
Sam and i just rolled our eyes.
Dean smiled "see what i did there?"
Donna started laughing "It's good seeing you again"
A Sheriff's deputy walked over to us "Who you got there, Sheriff?"
Donna "Lady and Gentlemen, this is Officer Stover. He's lead on the case"
Sam "Agents Elliot, Savage and Sheppard"
Stover smiled "nice to meet you. And please, call me "Doug."."
Donna cleared her throat "these three fine fellas will be helping out the old hippity hop "
Doug nodded "oh, we're gonna need it. And not that Sheriff Hanscum isn't doing a bang-up job. We're lucky to have her"
