Manik~

"Kiran, how could you do this to me?" I asked her.

How could she? Because of her wiling I agreed to come to India. But now....

"Why did you tell him that you want to see India?"

"Why did you tell that to dad, haa?" I whined.

I don't want to live here anymore.

"Now because of you, I'm lock in this room alone." I accused her.

"Because of you, uss chudail ne mujhe kut kut ke dhoya hai!" I started wailing. Though my fake tears ditched me at the right time.

"I want to go back," I whispered. But she just sat there. Unaffected, unfazed. Gazing with her glass eyes. With a smile on her red lips.

What yaar!

I thought, after all this melodrama of mine, she would react. But no she needs to keep her cold facade on all the time.

She is always like this. I pouted looking at her.

I wonder, yeh kiran srif dad ko hi kiu response karti hai. Mujhe kiu nahi.

Stomping my leg on the floor, I started to wail like a child loudly.

"Abe woh bheriya chup reh!" The Hitler shouted from downstairs.

Did I sound like a wolf?

Anurag~

"Haa Ravi, bol?" I asked through the phone.

"Anu, I somehow managed to get some passes from the night club near our college. " He shouted on the phone. So loudly that, I needed to clean my ear before putting the phone again. I'm sure he is jumping like a monkey right now.

"Yrr, mein nahi aa saakta. Maa mujhe Anarkali bana dengi." I replied sadly.

My first step to be a bad boy failed.

"Yrr, Anu please come. It's my birthday."

"Okay, I'll try. But can't promise anything,."

"Anu agar tu nahi aaya naa, toh mein cake nahi hi kaatne wala." He warned me like a serial killer and cut the phone.

Huh! Blackmailer kahi ka!

"Now what to do?" I asked myself.

Offoh! Genius logo ko v kya kya karna padhta hai!

And that was when my eyes fall on the window.

"Idea!"

The lights inside were dimmed. Sweaty bodies were swinging and clinging together. The smell of liquor stung Anurag's nostril.

By watching it from outside, Anurag couldn't guess what could be inside. But now when he was in, he knew he is gonna remember the night like his worst nightmare.

"Anu, let's go inside."

"Yes!" He stuttered.

On the other quantry, when Anurag, went inside the club, a black shiny car arrived. The passengers inside seemed too eger to be out, that they couldn't even wait till the car stop properly.

Manik looked above the holder. The name of the club was shining in the dark with LED lights.

"Manik, aaj ki raat teri azadi ki raat hai!"

The air was heavy inside the room.

The darkness made it worse.

That gloomy place witnessing a depressed mom.
A mother with longing in her eyes.

"Don't switch on the lights Shree." Shreekant withdrew his fingers from the switch.

The heavyness in air was affecting him too.

Although the lights was dim, Shrikant could easily figured where his wife was.

Nyonika was sitting on the easy chair, in the middle of the room.

"You are missing him again!?" He asked. Though, he knew it was more of a statement.

Nyonika was silent. Shrikant, with a defeating sigh, drag a chair and sat in front of her.

"It's really late, Nyo. He's not coming back."

"I know that." Nyo leaned her head behind.

Shrikant knew, right now the woman in front of him wasn't his wife.
She was just a mother. A mother still waiting for his dead son.

"You know what, Shree..." She paused.

"I think he will come back." Nyonika whispered. Her voice held loneliness. A sheer childishness.

Shrikant never correct her. He couldn't.
After all, he also think. He also think that, he will come back.

Anupam switch on the lights.

The sudden flood of the lights starlet Moloy.

Anupam was shocked watching his father-in-law like this.

Moloy's face was red. Sweat beats resting on his forehead.

"Sasurji, kya hua aap ko?"
"Are you alright?"
"Medicine lau aapki?"
Anupam was restless. Tension visible in his eyes.

"No Anupam stop!" Moloy clasped Anupam's hand feebly.

"It's not the pain that will go with medicine." Anupam kneeled in front of Moloy.

He, confused, asked "Yeh kya bol rahe hai aap?"

"Anupam, there is a thing.."

"A thing that I am carrying in my heart from many.. many years!"
Anupam frowned.

"What is that, Sasurji?"

"I will tell you …"

"I will tell you everything, beta."

"That thing... that thing mere dil ko andar se khokla kar raha hai."

"I need to get this out. Or else, this guilt... this guilt will eat me up like a monster."
Moloy was stuttering. His breathing uneven. Heartbeat increasing.

"What is it, sasurji? You can tell me."

"I know, beta. I know I can tell you. But not today."

"I will defiantly tell you, but not today."

Moloy told Anupam to made himself a little better.
But his gut feeling was telling that his dirty little secret will come out.
And that too, very soon.

And he need prepare an answer to tell them.

"Hey Mr. Stalker, you are again following me, right?"

Manik, couldn't remember what happened after that, as the solid ghusa  of Ms. Nandini Murthy, crushed his jaw again.
