Trigger warning: it is finally revealed what happened to Inferno the night she disappeared. This memory involves sexual assault and violence, nothing too descriptive, but I thought something with an extreme topic as this one deserved a warning. Seriously, it's a rough read.

Inferno

Memory...

"Charles?" Inferno asked anxiously. She looked up at him and her lips trembled with fear. She was shivering as terror ate up her heart.

"Shh. Don't be scared. It's just another part of the game." He shut the cabin door, blocking out the view of the stars, blocking out her hope.

She began to cry. "Can we play a different game?"

His face transformed into that of the devil. Inferno cowered away in fear. "You don't want to play with me anymore? I thought you were my friend?"

"I am. Please, can we play a different game?"

"Lay down." He was almost done undressing. He began to approach her.

"Please! I want Uncle Horrace!" She shouted when a surge of courage hit her. She knew this time that something terrible would happen.

"Scream all you want, no one will hear you."

    "Uncle Horrace! Uncle Horrace!"

He tackled her, even though she wasn't really fighting or struggling. How could she? He no longer looked angry, but he had a smile on his face that she would never forget. She thought he would crush her. He was a giant and she was the ant. "We're going to try something new, okay? Think of it as a new level."

    "No! No! No!"

Inferno laid there for a long time in her own vomit. She had immediately gotten sick when he was finished.

She was in shock. She was in unbelievable pain. She felt betrayed and she felt so alone.

She flinched when he snored again. He was beside her with a claiming grip on her little stomach. She didn't dare move.

The storm outside still roared. Down below, she could hear the men laughing. They were so nice to her during the day, so much so that she never understood why they let Charles play his terrible games with her.

She looked over at his sleeping form. She thought he loved her. She thought she was special. She was wrong.

He did things she still didn't understand. All she knew was that this time really hurt her like she knew it would. He pushed into her and now she was bleeding in spots she used when going to the bathroom.

She looked at him again and thought she saw a calmness about him.

It was all a lie. She was scared out of her mind but knew that if she wanted to live, she needed to get help.

Inch by inch, she slowly removed herself from his grasp. His breathing was even and he made no signs of awakening. She held her breath and finally after what have to have been minutes upon minutes, she was free.
