Chapter Twenty Eight-strip club

Start from the beginning

We all scream happily as he keeps grinding on Khanyi's lap.

I wonder how Neo would react to this image. She has literally forgotten that she has a man. Who is crazy, like Nathi.

Nathi?

I can't help but wonder how he would have reacted to this situation. But I'm sure I wouldn't have even entered the doors of this strip club.

He has eyes everywhere, so he always warns and that really freaks me out.

His memory coming back is really taking a slow pace. I miss him everyday.

Though I've heard from Khanyi that he's making progress. Few weeks back Khanyi told me he asked about me and the baby.

Weird right?

My gut feeling is telling me his memory is back but what I don't understand is why he's stalling?

Or maybe he wants to be sure, I keeping telling myself that.

Sbongi nudges me with her elbow, causing me to jump in fraught.

She scared me.

"Bathroom," she whispers with a worried look plastered on her face.

We inform the girls about our whereabouts.
Hopefully wishing they heard us since their eyes were burning on some dark skinned guy who was about to grind on Bongi.

"What's wrong?" I question immediately while I close the bathroom door behind me.

We receive a few stares from few girls whom are shocked by Sbongi's baby bump.

Like we care.

"Look," she points at her brightly lit up phone screen and I read the message sent by Kevin.

"You better wish I don't find you still in that club. Why the hell are you even there? Knowing very well you're carry my baby." It reads.

I chuckle, "I did say coming here was a bad idea."

"Fuck off. We broke up, he doesn't own me," she yells.

"You broke up with him and he didn't utter a word about breaking up with you. And besides, he owns that baby," I point at her belly.

"Whose side are you on?" she glares at me angryily and I know I'm fucked if I decide to go against her.

"Of course I'm on your side," I breathe.

"Good, you better be," she snorts.

You wouldn't want to disagree with a pregnant woman unless you don't mind being skinned alive.

We head out and wiggle our way through the crowded dance floor.

Sbongi stops infront of me and I mimic her actions, wondering why we've stopped so abruptly.

"Why did you stop?" I glance at her but when she tensely doesn't respond, I then follow her eyes to where she's glancing.

I see at a very pissed Kevin paving his way through the crowd motioning to our direction.

"Busi," he utters sternly immediately when he reaches us.

I completely get lost in those green eyes of his. Their very beautiful and they always manage to get me hooked up.

Even Sbongi is well aware of how I love this man's mesmerizing eyes.

"Hi," I clear my throat in embarassment, rotating my eyes to a certain direction rather than his.

"Can we go home, Sbongi," his vocie very demanding and deep.

"S...sure," Sbongi chokes out.

It's funny how mad at him she was moments ago but now very much afarid to speak.

She looks at me for reassurance and I nod placing her at ease.

"It's okay, go. I'll tell the girls you left."

She nods, interwines he fingers with Kevin's and they leave.

I sigh. Tiredlessly paving my way through the wild crowd.

Finally I see the girls and it seems their ready to leave too.

Thank Goodness.

"What happened to Sbongi?" Bongi questions worriedly, approaching me half way.

"Kevin happened," I shrug.

"Oh God, she's in trouble too?" Enhle laughs.

Who else is in trouble?

"Khanyi is in trouble with Neo," Bongi chuckles.

As if she read my confussion.

I glance at Khanyi and indeed she looks so grumpy and annoyed, already paving her way through the crowd agressively.

I chuckle, "I warned you guys."

At least I did. Bongi has to be thankful that her man is not that crazy.
As for Enhle, very single and lonely.
