Breathe in and out, in and out in and....
Awwwwwwwww, that pain again. It hurts. I already feel as if I'm dying slowly.
Where is my phone?
I can't find it. Where the hell is Nathi when I need him.
"Awwwwwwwwww." I scream again.
I stand up and switch the lights on and the door immediately flies open.
It's Khanyi. Thank goodness, but she looks freaked out.
"I heard you scream, are you al....."
"Call Nathi, my water just broke," I utter calmly.
Oh lord, these constructions are literally killing me.
"Oh my word, are you okay? It doesn't hurt as yet right? My poor baby!" she utters pacing up and down.
Why the hell is she nervous? I'm the one in pain here.
"Calm down, okay! Just get the baby's bag and call Nathi. I'm okay," I reassure her with a fainted smile.
She nods and heads upstairs.
Whuuu, I'm glad Khanyi's panthouse has a guest room downstairs. What would I have been at Nathi's house?
I'm 3 days early, not complaining though, I want this baby out of me.
"I have a tight schedule at work, so you'll have to stay with Khanyi for just this month. You about to give birth, and I want you safe and happy," Nathi suggested.
Trust me, I hated that idea a month ago. But right now I'm just relieved he came up with it from the first place.
Literally, I'm trying to keep strong but damn my constructions are just getting strong by every passing second.
"You need help mam?" Khanyi's temporary driver questions concernly.
Is he blind? Of course I need help.
"Yes," I grunt.
He nods and helps me sit comfortably in the backseat.
I can't with these pains, I need to lie on my back.
Simply, I do that, and open my legs widely.
Khanyi comes rushing in and freezes when she acknowledges my postion.
"You giving birth now?" she half yells in complete awe.
"No, get in the fucken car and call the father of this child before I murder someone," I scream.
It hurts, I'm hurting. Nathi better pray I don't kill him.
--------------------
I've been lying on my back on this cold floor. Legs are still wide open, and these constructions are the worst honestly.
I just thank the lords I'm in a single room because my whimps are so unbearably loud.
"I'm back," Khanyi comes in and she looks grumpy but she forces a smile.
She knows I'm about to scream at her.
"Where is he?" I mumble, facing the ceiling
"His cell phone has been off, I'm really trying you know," she sighs.
She is not trying hard enough.
"I'm going to kill him. I swear," I utter through clenched teeth.
She rolls her eyes. Clearly she doesn't believe me.
It's been 6 hours and counting.
I need this baby out of me.
I need Nathi.
"Khanyi, get her up from that floor," Nathi's mom utters as soon as she gets inside.
