and now I'm just a shadow.

He rubbed the new woman in my face at every opportunity, but still treated me like I deserved it because I'd chosen to end things over the history of infidelity. It was as if he completely forgot that he'd convinced me to give him another chance just weeks before. We were once again in a relationship when he cheated on me with the new girl and promptly moved on. He didn't see that I wouldn't do anything to hurt him, even while he was destroying me.
