Not liking how she was trying to figure me out a simple shrug answered her question, even though I knew that was not the reason I wasn't present at all.
Shyan was throwing me a barbecue excited that I was back home for a few in the late afternoon, and although I was happy to be seeing everyone, Keyshawn was on my mind. I fucking hated it, I worked too hard to get him out of my head before.
Tasha didn't know about the ultimatum and I wanted it to stay like that. This decision was easy enough I wasn't going, but I didn't want anyone in my business.
"I have to go, I'm proud of you Tasha." A smile appeared on her face. "I didn't forget." Tasha was in college to become a RN and with the grades she was getting her college was letting her take extra classes so she could graduate early.

Shyan and Karin attended the same university, NYU, not wanting to dorm they spent less money sharing an apartment splitting the rent.
"Come here!" Shyan squealed smiling at me as I ran over to her.
