37. The Timetable

PREVIOUSLY IN JILY RETURNS
The new DADA professor Dolores Jane Umbridge and the new Transfiguration professor Anita Chowdhary is introduced.

It's the first day of school. Harry woke up bright and early with a huge smile on his face. It was partly because of the fact that he didn't have a power-hungry psychopath trying to kill him in every given chance. And of course, he got his family back.

Even though was looking forward to attending classes this year, he was unsure of how the new defence teacher was like. But he chucked that thought out of his mind and started getting ready for the day.

Time skip to breakfast at the Great Hall

Professor Chowdhary came by the table handing out the timetables for the year. She stopped by Harry and spoke to him "Mr. Potter, Professor McGonagall told me about the study group that you wanted to start. You'll have to make a flyer or notice of some sort to put up on the house notice boards. But before that, when are you announce this?"

"I'm planning on telling everyone about this tomorrow evening. I wanted to talk to Professor Snape and Professor Flitwick about being sponsors for the group. So, after I finish that I'll announce this. I'll give you the notice template in your office once I finish making it." he replied.

Chowdhary nodded and continued going down the table handing out the timetables to the rest of the Gryffindors. Dean and Seamus, who had overheard the conversation, asked "What was that about Harry?" "I've planned to start a study group this year. And don't ask right now. Wait until I announce tomorrow at dinner and look out for the notice in our common room notice board."

They nodded and dropped the topic. They asked about his timetable. "What are the subjects you have today?" asked Dean. Harry took a look just then and replied "Double Potions, before Lunch, Double transfiguration after lunch and one class of History of Magic. It's going to be a crazy day." The two of them agreed as they had the same subjects as well.

Harry's Timetable (One class is 1 hr)

Breakfast Time: 8:00 am to 9:00 am

Lunch Time: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Dinner Time: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Curfew starts at 10:00 pm.

Monday:

9:00 am to 11:00 am – Double Potions (Slytherin)

11:00 am to 12:00 pm – History of Magic (Ravenclaw)

12:00 pm to 1:00 pm – Arithmancy (All Houses)

2:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Double Defence Against the Dark Arts (Gryffindor only)

Tuesday

9:00 am to 11:00 am – Double Charms (Ravenclaw)

11:00 am to 1:00 pm – Double Transfiguration (Slytherin)

2:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Double Care of Magical Creatures (Slytherin)

8:30 pm to 9:30 pm – Practical Astronomy (Gryffindor Only)

Wednesday

9:00 am to 10:00 am – Herbology (Hufflepuff)

10:00 am to 11:00 am – Theoretical Astronomy (Hufflepuff)

11:00 am to 12:00 pm – HoM (Ravenclaw)
