21. The Shopping Trip - 2

Everyone decides to go shopping for clothes as they had a very limited collection of clothes, robes and footwear.

Once everyone reached the Leaky Cauldron, the group noticed that the customers present in the pub were staring at them with awe. Before anyone could do anything, the bartender Tom shouted out "why can't everyone stop staring at them? I bet all of us have work to do!" He then turned to the group just arrived "Good to see all of you." He told and went back to doing his work. "Thank you, Tom" said James politely and led the group to the back of the shop to get to Diagon Alley.

Before he tapped his wand on the bricks, Charlus asked "Does anyone have any particular shop visits other than Madam Malkins?" "I wanted to visit Quality Quidditch Supplies to get the recent Broom Servicing Kit and a couple of magazines. And a few posters and other stuff that I'd like to take to decorate my room with." Harry answered his Grandfather's question. "Oh! I also want to go to Flourish and Blotts to get a few books related to a few topics I'm interested in and need to stock up on quills and parchment as well."

They went to Gringotts first and got money out of their respective vaults. They kept a part of the Wizarding Currency they had taken while they changed the rest into muggle money. First, they went to Madam Malkins. She got their sizes and asked them to come back after 3 hours to collect their clothes. The Potter men (Harry included) and Sirius got robes with their respective house crest on as they didn't have any.

They parted ways after agreeing to meet in front of Flourish and Blotts. Harry, James, Sirius and Charlus made their way to Quality Quidditch Supplies, while the ladies went to Glad Rags to see if they had anything nice to buy.

In the Quidditch store, Harry picked up a few posters of the Irish team as he followed them since the World Cup last year and of his favourite team Puddlemere United as well. He picked a few Chudley Cannons posters for Ron and a few of Holyhead Harpies ones for Ginny. He got a Broom Servicing Kit and a whole set of quidditch magazine, including the one that had released just yesterday and a Gryffindor and Puddlemere banner.

He then went over to the counter and waited for the others to come over there as they had agreed. He was astounded to find each of them having a Firebolt like the one he had. Sirius then told him "We had already ordered these when we were still at Hogwarts." They checked out and went on to meet the ladies in front of Flourish and Blotts. What Harry didn't know was that his grandfather had ordered a snitch with Harry's name engraved and planned on giving it to him on his birthday.
