EXTENDED SUMMARY.
THOMAS O'RYAN DIDN'T HAVE A NORMAL LIFE, TO BE PUT SIMPLY. You see, his parents worked for a famous science lab in New York, and were great at their jobs. When Thomas went with his parents to 'bring your child to work day,' an explosion occured that killed three people. Thomas almost died, but rather lived. Only, he wasn't normal. No, Thomas O'Ryan was gifted the ability to start fires with his mind.
The only place that knew how to treat him was Hawkins Lab. After some tests of what Thomas could do and trying to get in contact with Russians ( surprisingly ), Thomas was sent home. But, his parents supposedly died in a car crash while he stayed there. Because Thomas had no where else to go, a random cabin in the woods was where he's have to stay, getting a job and cooking meals all by himself.
But when the chief of police and a little girl suddenly come stop by, Thomas has no choice but to leave. But when he saw Eleven, the girl, they were estatic. With many trials and problems to come by, Thomas was able to stay. The world was moving ahead, which was why Eleven wanted out. And when she escapes, Thomas has no choice but to go and try to rescue the girl. Only to find himself get sucked into finding a boy's weird pet with Steve Harrington, a boy Thomas thought he didn't like.
NOTES.
—lowkey lowkey ik the plot doesn't make sense when he has nowhere else to go, but bare with me pls. i also know chase was in an episode of st, but like... it was one episode, and he only had one line.
— thomas went to work with his parents and a bad explosion occured, causing people to die and for him to get superpowers/the ability to create fire. he gets sent to hawkins lab, his parents die in a car crash (they rlly didn't) and he hides in a cabin in the woods. he has a job and everything.
— include flasbacks of el and thomas in the lab bc they have a close sibling relationship. when thomas helps dustin and steve track down dart, he forms a close relationship with him too. eventually, thomas is like the cool older cousin to the kids.
— thomas and hopper don't get along at first, partly because thomas was living in his cabin the whole time w/o him knowing. but overtime, they form a father-son relationship
— you can decide how thomas' parents die. i was thinking bc of the gov't trying to keep them quiet. have thomas try to find out what happens to them.
— the title can change and so can his love interest. there shouldn't be one if u don't want him with steve.
— thomas and steve work together in s3 at scoops. thomas is also very very sad when he finds out hopper dies.
