EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Samantha Haller was less than pleased when she learned halfway into the school year that she would be moving from Sturgis, South Dakota to Hawkins, Indiana. Not only did she think her summer would be spent in her new air-conditioned home alone, but she wanted it to be spent alone since she had no desire to make friends with anyone in Hawkins. However, her thoughts change when she finally moves to the new town and meets her fiery, redheaded neighbor known as Max Mayfield.
