Chapter Twenty Five-Mpendulo

Start from the beginning

Khanyi and her brothers rush to our scene and Khanyi freezes on her spot.

"I want her out of this house, ma" he stares at his mom emotionlessly, yet the anger is quite evident.

"She's not going anywhere," Khanyi comes up and yells at her brother.

"This is my house, please don't piss me off. Can't you see she's only here for the money?" he questions.

That's an insult by itself. Who the hell gave him the impression of me being a gold digger?

"Dude, that's the mother of your son. What's gotten into you?" Siya questions.

I'm humanilated.

I continue sniffing, while trying my level best to hide my exposed thighs by pulling Nathi's shirt down but it does no justice.

I can't give up on him.

"Nathi!" Sbongiseni utters lowly.
His stare hard, "This woman loves you. Give her a chance."

Oh wow, the all mighty Sbongiseni cares. He really cares.

"Sbongiseni is right, Nathi," Bongani sternly adds.

He glares at his family one by one, a dissapproval look plays on his face and dark warning eyes.

Where are his grandparents and dad? Those are the people he might care to listen to.

Finally he looks at me. His lips are in a straight line, eyes are still disapprovingly accusing, and his jaw repeatedly clenches.

Nathi is gone. Maybe I gradually have to accept that but I know I wouldn't.

"Get the fuck out," he growls.

"No. I'm not getting out of here without a fight. Fight for us and try to remember," the tears find their way down.

Silence.

He glares at me deadly and I on the other stand my ground.

"Do it for our son and daugther, please," I desperately whisper.

He chuckles hideously. "Get out," he yells.

"Nathi, don't," his mom warns.

He ignores that.

"Nathi," Siya yells.
"You trust me right?" Siya questions even when his brother is deliberately ignoring him.

"You love that woman. I've seen it in your eyes and actions bruh, let her help you remember," he pleads with his eyes.

Silence.

"Nathi?" Khanyi pleads.

After what has seem to be like for years, he finally decides to drag me again by the arm and he marches for the door.

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWW," I yell in pain.

He ignores both his mom and Khanyi who are slapping his back with force.

Sbongiseni is held back against the wall by Bongani. His face looks dangerous, and Siya just steps back to make a way for his brother.

Wait. Are they all actually afraid of Nathi?
I mean I don't blame them, I'm shit scared myself.

He pushes me straight to the green grass troughly and I fall painfully with my buttocks on the sparkly dry grass.

"Stay away from my daugther and family," he barks and with that said he goes back inside.

I'm grateful Lethu isn't here to witness this. She'd literally think the worst of her father, and that's the last thing I'd want.

"My baby, I want my baby," I mentally scream.
