chapter 17

today is finally saturday so maybe alex and i will work things out. my body is no longer in pain so i'm going to make the best out of today. i jump on alex.

"wake up, its time to wake up!"

"mamacita what on earth are you doing to me?"

i stop jumping. "i wanted to walk you up sorry..."

ellie gets out of her bed and climbs up to jump on him.

"goodmorning sweetheart" he says to her.

i get off of him and walk out to the guest bedroom. i cant take it anymore, if hes going to break up with me, he needs to do it already.

"mamacita we need to talk." He says leaning on the door frame.

no not this anything but this talk.

"dont leave me please. please anything but that." i whisper but i guess he caught what i said.

"hey, you listen to me dont think like that. i'm not leaving no one could ever make me do that. i read your paper and i was thinking that if i'm going to be here, Ellie can take my last name. i'm sorry i've been M.I.A lately everything is just crazy right now but you have to believe me i wouldnt leave you guys. i love you."

hearing him say that made me so happy. today will be the best i know it will. alex takes ellie and i out to make everything up and its truly amazing. we walk around downtown and we see them, my nightmare that keeps playing in my head. they ruined my perfect day really quick. i stand strong but vince sees through it real quick. hes pissed because shes holding alex's hand, we head home and our day is finally done. we fall asleep happily in love and its the most amazing feeling in the world.

sunday was our cuddle day, ellie, alex and i watched movies all day. we built a blanket fort with ellie and she had a blast. seeing her smile and playing wih alex is what makes my day better, i dont know what i would do without them.

last final week of junior year! but bad thing its a monday and alex is sick with the flu so he has to stay home. today is the day i have to fend for myself. i get to school and shit talking begins, rumors are starting and i hear people whispering.

"i guess alex broke up with her" i hear one girl say

"thats sad he beats her then dumps her." i hear another one say

in my locker i got a note from vanessa, i haavent talked to her in forever. the note says to meet her in the gym at nutrition. um okay?in my classes i keep thinking to myself and get alexs work. at nutrition i go to the gym to meet vanessa, its super dark.

"hello is anyone here? vanessa?"

something isnt right, as soon as i turn around to leave the door slams shut and the lights turn on. right in front of my eyes are my worst nightmares.

"you're so pathetic you know that? you're all alone, no boyfriend to defend you? poor poor natalie. thats okay it makes it easier for us."

carlos starts to walk towards me, the rest follow like little puppy dogs. they keep getting closer with every step they take. i cant run anywhere, i feel like a hopeless puppy. i try to grab my phone but carlos grabs it first.

"you want your macho boyfriend? me and him go way back, he told me hes just usin you, he doesnt give a shit about you! when he aint with you, hes fuckin some bitch in the bathroom." he says and walks away from me.

vince grabs me and pins me to the wall like carlos did on friday.

"today you are mine,i told you, you were going to pay for everything you did to me." he whispers in my ear
