"GAHH!What time is it?" I yawned, untangling my messy hair from my face. I checked the time and saw that it was 8:45-
I'M GONNA BE SO LATE!!!
"I HAVE 15 MINUTES! Tikki, why didn't you wake me up sooner?!"
I jumped out of bed and hastily put on an outfit for the day, brushed my teeth and did my hair, trying my best to smooth out the plaits made yesterday. I took my bag, and let Tikki fly into my purse before running downstairs- not without tripping a few times, of course.

I said goodbye to my parents and zoomed out the door faster than you could say Ladybug!
But then it hit me-
No, not really- I bumped into someone and fell onto the floor.
Again??? I thought.
"I'm so, so sorry I didn't mean to-" I was cut off by the tall figure saying, "It's OK, Marinette, I just wasn't looking where l was going!"
"Ummm how do you know my name- ADRIEN!" I almost fainted left, right and centre but thankfully I was saved when Alya came running over.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!" She screamed before giving me a massive bear hug.
Birthday? OH YEAH! I'm 16! I giggled at the thought.
"Thanks, Alya."
"No problem! You're lucky you got here on time, the bell doesn't go for another minute!" Alya squealed.
Adrien's POV
I was just standing there dumbfounded throughout the best friends' entire exchange. It was Marinette's birthday?!
Then it came back to me. OH YEAH. Since it's her 16th birthday I had asked my father to book a trip for the class in celebration!
"I'm gonna go to class, see you around Mari." l said in a calm tone.
She turned to look at me and said "O-ok Adrien!" I'm not going to lie, she's quite cute when she stutters!
Alya's POV
MARINETTE JUST SPOKE TO ADRIEN! MY SHIP! We started heading to class since the bell rang a couple of minutes ago- whoops, I must have gotten so wrapped up in Marinette's birthday! Her sweet sixteenth! Oh, just you wait Marinette! We're gonna make this the best birthday ever!
