DESIRE TO TAKE

            MASAYANG bumati ang lahat matapos magsalita si Dad. Lahat ay nakangiti maliban na lang ata sa akin. Na hanggang ngayon ay nakalingkis pa din ang braso ni Kuya Raven sa bewang ko. Bumaba na kami sa stage na nasa ganoong posisyon pa din.

            "I am so glad you came." Mom was teary eyed when she was caressing my brother's cheek as she looks him in the eyes. My brother smiled back. "Of course. For my most beautiful Mom." he said and touched Mom's hand on his cheeks. "Si Mom lang? Paano naman ako?" kunwaring nagtatampo na sabi ni Dad. Napailing-iling pero natatawa naman si Kuya Raven. "And what about Svelle?" sabi ni Mom. Nagulat naman ako doon. Tumingin ako kay Kuya Raven at nakita ko ang seryosong tingin nito sa akin. Lumapit ito sa gawi ko at nilingkis ulit ang braso sa bewang ko.

             "Of course. I missed you too." sabi nito. "So much..." bulong nito o sadyang nabingi lang ako. Tinigala ko ito. Even though I am already wearing my stillettos, I didn't even reach his face. Just his shoulders. Pero mukhang mali ang ginawa kong tingala dahil bigla na lang itong yumuko. Making the tips pf our nose touched. I flinched. Mabilis na lumingon ako kina Mom at Dad at nakita ko na may kausap silang iba. Dahan-dahan na tinignan ko ulit ito.

             "K-Kuya Raven..." nanginginig na sabi ko. He just stared at me. "Don't you missed me too, huh, Svelle?" Lumunok na muna ako para tanggalin ang bara sa lalamunan ko. "Y-yeah. I missed you too." sabi ko dito. Napansin ko ang munting ngiti nito. "Really?" Sasagot na sana ako ng napansin ko ang paglingon nina Mom and Dad sa gawi namin kaya agad na inayos ko ang sarili ko. Hihiwalay na sana ako pero nandoon pa din ang braso ni Kuya Raven sa bewang ko.

             "Ohh, iha." tawag sa akin ni Mom. Tumingin naman ako dito. "Akala ko pupunta yung crush mo?" tudyo nito sa akin. Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko. Naramdamanan ko ang biglang paghigpit ng kamay ni Kuya Raven sa bewang ko. Is he mad?

              Umiling ako. "Hindi naman, Mom. Saka di... di ko naman iinvite yun." mahinang sabi ko. Napayuko ako at plano ko na sana na lumayo ng higitin ako pabalik.

              "Crush, huh?" tiim bagang na sabi nito. Kinabahan ako bigla dito. Why is he mad at me? 

               "Crush lang naman, iho. Ang overprotective mo naman sa bunso natin." natatawang sabi ni Mom. Naramdaman ko ang pagbitiw nito sa bewang. "Excuse me for a while."he said and left. I looked at him walking away. Confused at his actions. "Hayaan mo na. Alam mo na kuya kasi." natatawang pagsasabalewala lang ni Mom sa akin. I smiled at her. But in my mind I know. Something is definately wrong with him.

               I WALKED out and immediately went to our private mini bar in our house to grab something to drink. I saw the bottle of vodka, opened it and drank directly from it. I took a deep breath to calm myself. I was enraged but I need to get a hold of myself. I took another drink. And looked at the window. And there she is, chatting happily with my parents. I stared at her. Her mocha skin, her black hair, the curves that is too visibly for everyone. The breast to die for. That innocent smile.

              I was really enraged. Hearing that she had a crush on someone else. Gusto kong manuntok. Lalo na dun sa taong gusto niya.

             "Overprotective brother." I mumbled to myself and hissed. As if I am her big brother. Hell would freeze first.

              Sumandal ako sa counter ng bar. I started biting my thumb. Controlling myself to get her and locked ourselves in our room and make her scream my name for the whole night.

             "Tsk." Another sipped from the bottle. I can't do that. Wait. No. I can. But not now. But soon. I smiled devilishly while staring at my baby.
