Today's our 3 year dating anniversary, I'm not sure how 3 years flew by already but they did. Lately though, I've been feeling a little uneasy about this relationship with the way things have been going. Jacob is an amazing guy but he tends to be over protective, almost possessive, in the past I brushed it off as saying he just loves me and doesn't want to lose me but within time it's only gotten worse. Regardless I put a smile on my face and embrace his arm as its around me.
"Happy anniversary" I responded, yawning shortly after I spoke. Jacob released me from the hug he had me in, allowing for me to get out of bed and begin getting ready for my day.
It's finally Friday and I'm more than ready to have a relaxing weekend, The past week at work was a little hectic with new clients coming in and having to sort through paperwork and make sure meetings are going well. I've been a receptionist at Exxon Mobil for 2 years now, working for such a large oil and gas company comes with its perks and downfalls. Perks are the benefits that come with it, good pay, good insurance, good hours..the only downfall really is how busy and hectic it can get, and that's with the fact that I'm just the receptionist, I cant imagine how hectic it is for the bosses.
Since it's Friday today is mostly about business meetings with some of our clients, so I need to make sure I'm there early to get the conference room ready with the paperwork they will be needing in their meeting. Luckily I got all the paperwork ready yesterday before I left work, I try to be as organized as possible with this job so that I don't make a fool out of myself or my boss.
"I have dinner planned for us tonight" Jacob spoke from the bedroom as I stepped out of the shower, I quickly went to brush my teeth so I can get dressed and get out of here. I don't technically need to clock in until 8, but with the first meeting being at 8, I need to be there earlier.
"Where are we going?" I walked out of the bathroom to see him almost finished getting dressed
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out" He kissed my cheek as I looked through my closet, deciding what to wear today
With it being late February and it being a little cooler outside still, I went with a long sleeved knit dress that falls slightly above my mid thigh, I slipped on my thigh high black heeled boots. I threw on a long grey coat that slightly looked like a fancier cardigan, I decided to use my small Gucci purse that Jacob had bought me a while back.
He gets good commission on as a realtor, he mostly sells high end homes which leaves him with a good chunk of change in his pocket. This purse is one of the nicer things he has bought me, but Im not with him for that.
