When I got to my apartment building, I went into the elevator all alone. I had a little victory dance freak out. Once the elevator door's opened on my floor, I ran into my apartment.

I went into the closet and started digging through everything I owned for the perfect outfit.

“What the hell are you doing?” Connor asked.

I hadn't even noticed he was home.

“Looking for an amazing outfit.”

“Why?”

“I'm going out with someone.”

“Who?”

“Just a guy.”

“Well, that certainly is descriptive.”

“I can't say... at least I don't think I can. I'm not sure.”

“Just tell me. It's not like I have anybody to tell.”

“Ok, but you cannot open your mouth to anyone!”

“I swear, I won't. Plus, I will feel much better knowing who you are out with.”

“I'm going out with Jonah Byers.”

“No way. Seriously?”

“Yeah!”

“That's insane. And you're sure he wasn't speaking to some other girl?” He said laughing.

“Yes, you horses ass. He was speaking to me.”

“I'm just messing with you, loosen up. Congratulations. I hope you have a great time.”

“Thank you. Now, I need a man's opinion on my outfit.”

“Oh no, no, no. I'm not judging how hot my sister looks in an outfit. That's disgusting. Call Riley.”

“Good idea. Oh my gosh! I forgot to text him! Shit!”

“Relax, you just got home. I'm sure he will understand.”

I grabbed my phone off the bed and scrolled through my contacts. There it was, “Jonah”. What a beautiful sight to see on my phone.

“Hey, it's Olivia. My address is 1026 Oak Street.”

He texted back right away.

“I was starting to think you forgot about me ;).”

“I would never!”

“Good. Can I pick you up around 6?”

I looked at the clock. It was already 4:45.

“Oh, ok. If I'm going to see you that soon, I need to go get ready.”

“Sorry, it's kind of a drive. Thought we should have an early start.”

“Totally fine. I'll see you at 6 :).”

“See you then.”

“SHIT!” I yelled.

“What now?” Connor said in an annoyed tone.

“I only have an hour and 15 minutes to get ready!”

“Here. Wear this.” He handed me a dress.

“This is actually not half bad.”

“I just picked the first thing I saw in your closet.”

“Well, thank you.”

“No problem. Now, do something with your hair and face.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going.”
