Secrets

"Hey Jinx, good day at school?"

"No," Her dad looked shocked. He frowned."why?"

"Everything was okay until halfway through when everyone started avoiding me," Rascal twitched. " What were they called?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"I have a hunch," He shrugged. Her dad was acting strange tonight. She blinked in confusion then gave him a 'don't lie to me ' look. He gulped. "If this will help ,their names were ,I don't trust my dad and You ought to tell me what's going on otherwise this won't be fun."

"I can't ."

"Dad,this isn't fair on me , you can't keep secrets from me like this."she whined,pleading for him to spill.

"It's just what's best for you. If I tell you ,you might be put in danger. I want you to be safe."He hugged her tight.

"It isn't right,if it puts me in danger then I have the right to know." She pushed him away. And he looked hurt." Don't give me that look .You should tell me these things,"

"I need to talk with your mother," She glared at him , holding her stare to make him very uncomfortable.Just then ,Chloe answered the door.

"Oh good! Here she is,"
