Dad used to bring me ice cream whenever I was sick secretly and would discreetly distract mom so she wouldn't check up on me while I was eating.

He's amazing, I know.

"That's a deal! No taking backs." He beamed, a toothy grin now etched on his face.

"Deal buddy, now kiss me goodbye." I offered my cheek to him with a cheeky grin.

He pecked me on the cheek,"I love you Ewwie!" He called out, before running upstairs.

"I love you too buddy," I smiled softly, standing up from my crouched state and pulling my jeans downwards slightly.

I glanced at my wrist watch, sighing when I saw I only had ten minutes before classes starts. I'll be late first period but good thing it wasn't a core subject.

I didn't wait up and was out of the door. A small smile gracing my features upon hearing the birds chirp.

The pack of skittles have been gone for a few days now and we were all getting worried. Alec has not been responding to my texts since the business reply.

A frown replaced my smile at the thought of one of them getting hurt. It wasn't my business to pry into it and I'm glad that Alec trusted me enough to tell me their secret.

That doesn't mean I was happy about it though.

My thoughts drifted off to Annie, after our talk, we've somehow been hanging out. She's been inviting me to buy some cold drinks with her after school.

We weren't that close but a friendship is there. She's really kind and funny when she wants to be. I don't even get why Alec didn't fell for her.

Todd were completely against the idea of us being friends but he knew he can't do anything about it. Ark though was blatantly expressing her distaste in my new found friendship and would give her the stink eye when we'd passed by her.

My thoughts were cut off when I heard a familiar low hum of a motorcycle. My eyes widened before I turned to my side.

There in all his glory was Alec, matching his driving with the pace of my walk. I gaped, stopping completely in my tracks.

A smirked graced his features, turned his baby off. He kicked the stand on before swinging his leg off the seat and took his helmet off.

I couldn't help but gulp when he shook his head, his hair becoming quite more messy. He looked handsome in his ripped jeans, a fitted shirt that hugged his muscles and leather boots.

He made his way towards me and I couldn't help but gasp when I saw he had a busted lip and bruised knuckles.

"Hiii biscotto." The familiar deep and husky voice of his brought a certain warmth in me, opening his arms wide for a hug.

I snapped out of my trance before glaring at him."You asshole!" I exclaimed, hitting him on the arms and whacked his head.

"Wha—Ow! What did I do? Ah! Shit! That freaking hurts woman!" He whined, trying to dodge my attempts on hitting him.

"What did you do? All of you went complete MIA on us! Do you not know how worried we were? Then you show up with busted lips and knuckles!" I glared angrily, crossing my arms.
