"I can't wait to go to Robinson Hills!" cried Laura Jones excitedly.

"Oh yes," said Mrs. Jones happily. " When I was small, I went there too. It was a great school with a long heritage."

Thirteen-year-old Laura Jones was about to start a new phase of her life at a well-known boarding-school, Robinson Hills, and was very excited.

Laura had lovely dark brown hair and two big brown eyes. Laura was a natural leader and would do anything to help people.

Robinson Hills was said to be the best girls' school around. Some even said it was magical. Perhaps that was true, for everyone who graduated from that school always felt a little 'magical'.

Laura had heard about it from her mother who studied there. Like how at night, there seemed to be balls of light twinkling around. And how the flowers in the courtyard seem to greet you with pleasure.

Laura would be leaving for the school the next day, and she was simply thrilled when she heard that she was going there.
