I opened the door to the honeymoon suite. It was a house that was further than where the people where. Aria walked in a gasped, she set her bags down and looked around the room. I closed the door and set my bags down. I walked and saw the bedroom, the bed had rose petals shaped like a heart. Aria gasped when she saw it.

"Oh my god. That's so pretty", she said.

"Look", I told her. She turned around and saw the opening of the room that leads to the ocean. "Oh my god", she said as she ran down the small deck. I grabbed my bags and started unpacking them and putting my clothes into dressers. Aria walked back in and sat on the little chair at the foot of the bed.

"Can we go swimming?", she asked.

"You can do whatever you want. I got some business to do", I said as I put my empty luggage bag under the bed.

"Are you serious? It's our honeymoon. You know, where we take a break from work and all of that nonsense and have fun", Aria sighed.

She didn't really think that this was serious, did she? If she did then she would have to learn quickly.

"Aria, this marriage isn't a real marriage, where we cuddle up with each other. Love on each other and all that. It's a marriage that has peace between my family and yours", I sighed and check my phone for emails and texts from my brothers.

"I know, but maybe we could actually get to know each other. Since we are, you know, married.", Aria said as she got up and started rummaging through her luggage. She pulled out a bathing suit and put it against her shirt, looking at herself in the mirror. She tossed it on the bed and looked at me.

"Giovanni, we are in the Bahamas", Aria said placing her hands on her hips.

"Yeah and we are here for a month, thanks to your father and mine", I sighed.

They both thought it was best we had time to get to know each other before heading back home and dealing with everything. I didn't like the idea but Aria thought it was a great idea, considering where our honeymoon was. I've never been to the Bahamas, but there's a first for everything. During this honeymoon, I still had to make sure everything was well back home. I trusted my brother to take my spot for the time being but I needed an excuse to not talk or be around Aria too much. It wasn't that I hated her but I didn't want to get to know her. We got married for the wrong reasons. It was to keep our families at peace, it was real. I felt bad that Aria tried the last day to try and get to know me but I wouldn't let her.

"Can you at least get out of that suit?", Aria asked, walking from out the bathroom in her bathing suit.

My eyes trailed up her body until my eyes met hers. It was the first time I ever really looked at a woman after Greta's death. She looked at me waiting for a response. When I didn't she turned around and began walking towards the deck. I watched her, her hips swaying as she walked. I quickly removed my eyes. I called my brother and waited until he answered.

"Giovanni, what do you need?", Lorenzo asked.

"Find anything on the bastard at the wedding?", I asked pacing around the house.

"Gio, we got it covered. Get to know your wife, have a conversation with her. You're with her for a long long time buddy", Lorenzo said.

Before I could protest he hung up. I cursed under my breath and tossed my phone on the bed. I ran my fingers through my hair which made it messy. I didn't know why everyone wanted me to get to know Aria so badly. Everyone made it seem like this was real and that we loved each other. I didn't have to know her, care for her in the way a husband should. Obviously, I would protect her, but loving her wouldn't be a thing.

I grabbed some swimming trunks and put them on. I walked out of the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I had scars from knife fights on my chest but some covered with tattoos. I had a tattoo on my chest that leads into my sleeve. I grabbed my sunglasses then I walked out to the deck and saw Aria swimming. I sat on a chair and leaned back on it, closing my eyes.

"Really?", I heard Aria say.

I heard footsteps get closer, I opened my eyes and took off my sunglasses. My eyes once again trailed up Aria's body until they landed on her eyes. Water was dripping from her bathing suit and hair from being in the water. She stood over me and folded her arms together.

"Come on, get in the water with me. It's boring swimming by myself", she said.

"I looked like you we having the time of your life", I said.

Aria groaned. "Gosh! You really are old", she said.

I stood up and looked at her.

"Old?", I asked. I wasn't old, older than her but I wasn't old.

"Yes, that's what I said.", Aria said her eyes never leaving mine.

"I'm twenty-seven. You're literally twenty-one.", I argued.

"Yes, and when I was eleven you were seventeen.", She explained.

"You're twenty-one now. We are only six years apart, doesn't mean I'm old. Just means you're too childish", I folded my arms in front of me.

She looked at me for a minute then pushed me. I tried to keep my balance but I fell in the water. I shook my head and wiped my face. I pushed my soaking hair back and looked at her.

"You shouldn't have done that", I said.

I pulled myself up the deck, making Aria scream and start to run. I chased after her, not letting her away with pushing me in the water. I was soaked and I didn't want to be in the water at all. She ran into the house, I ran in after her. She tried to run towards the bathroom to lock herself in but I got a hold of her hips. I picked her up and held her to my side. I walked towards the end of the deck and Aria screamed as she laughed. I swung her over and threw her in the water. She came back up and laughed pushing her hair back.

"Ow", she suddenly said.

"Are you okay?", I asked.

I wanted to make sure I didn't hurt her. I never hurt a woman and I never would. Even if it wasn't purposely, I didn't like hurting women. She swam to the deck and I bent down to see what was wrong. She held out her hand and I examined it, nothing was wrong. Aria grabbed a hold of my wrist and pulled me in the water. When I got up to the surface Aria was laughing. I looked at her and shook my head. I couldn't believe that I fell for it. She swam towards me and smiled. She pushed my hair back out of my face. "I knew you were going to do that, you know", I said, making Aria giggle.

"I'm sure you did", Aria said.

"I did. Something someone childish would do.", I said and Aria gave me a glare.

"Something an old man would say", Aria laughed.

"Little Dove, I'm definitely not old. If I was, you wouldn't have agreed to marry me, now would you?", I asked.

"Well, this isn't a real marriage, remember. This is only to have peace between your family and mine", she said repeating the words I said to her earlier.

I chuckled then swam to the deck pulling myself up and standing up. "We have dinner reservations soon. So get ready", I said before walking towards to house and leaving her by herself.
