A few weeks later, Y/N POV:
It's started to become a little colder than the summer weather we had when everything went down. And the twins now made me miss picking up my new fall coat. I was cold and running after them with only a short sleeved shirt.
-I swear to the gods, I will snitch you out to your parents! I shout after them as I stop running and catch my breath. I was almost turning to ice, as the twins had put a bucket of ocean water above our door... making it spill... on me...
-Wow, got a wake up call? I hear Erets voice beside me, as a shadow is cast on me. I shake my head, panting lightly.
-I will kill them if I can get them, I say and look at him. He had already picked up his new clothes for the autumn and coming winter. He chuckles and wraps me in one of his winter coats. I smile gratefully as I snuggle into the furry garment. An ice cold breeze blows by, making me shudder.
-C'mon, I'll help you with your things, Eret says as we behind making our way to the seamstress that has made both of our clothes.

The seamstress smiles at us as we walk inside.
-Eret, back so soon? She jokes.
-I'm just here to make sure Y/N gets all her stuff... She got pranked by the twins this morning. The seamstress laughs and picks up a big pile of clothes beside her.
-Then you'll need these, she says and smiles at me and hands the clothes to Eret.
-Thank you... remind me to pay you back! I say.
-I will, don't you worry, she smiles and holds the door for us as we walk into the cold air again. The leaves on the trees has begun turning to a warm orange color, a few leaves laying dry and dead in the ground already.

-Well, you better get changed, Hiccup has another job for us, Eret says as he drops me off at my house. I smile. This man always made me smile, no matter what stupid thing comes out of his mouth.
-Absolutely. Meet you here in 10? I ask. Eret grins and hands me my stuff.
-Absolutely Love... he says and my face turns a bright red. Only this past week did he start calling me love. And it always drives me nuts. How he can say it without a care in the world while talking to me. He never spoke to another person like he spoke to me.
He begins walking away, until I remember his coat.
-Eret! Your coat! I say and quickly shrug it off. Eret turns around and smirks at me.
-I'll get it later! He says as he opens his door and walk inside. I giggle and shake my head.
-What am I supposed to do with that boy? I whisper to myself as I leave his coat on a chair by the door. I grab all my new clothes and run upstairs. I sort them by winter and fall clothes, quietly choosing what clothes to wear.
I choose a pair of thick tights, a warm, woolen dress-like blouse to wear on top of my undershirt, and a thick bear coat on top. It drapes over my shoulders and half of my arms, and it comes together at the belt in the front and hangs like a cape in the back. I smile to myself as I start making my way downstairs again, to meet Eret. I swing the door open, and he stands there, as if he was just about to knock. I look at him, up and down. His coat was almost identical to mine, and he wore many layers to not feel cold. I could feel his eyes scan over me too.
-You look... we both say at the same time, and laugh.
-Wow... just wow... Eret says and point at me. His cheeks turn a slight pink.
-Says you! I say and he laughs. I feel my own cheeks turn warm.
-Now c'mon, let's not be late to whatever job Hiccup has, I say and walk outside, closing the door behind me. Eret hooks his arm through mine as we walk. A strong wind blows into our faces, making them flush red. I look up at his shocked and red face. I giggle and he playfully bumps into my shoulder.
We reach the docks quick and there stands the chief, waiting for us.
-So. What job do you have for us, chief? I ask, noticing how d/n and Skullcrusher is there, waiting by Hiccup.
-I want you to inspect the stone pieces for any cracs or damages. I really want to try to see if we can manage to save the most of them, Hiccup says.
-Alright, sounds easy enough, Eret says and walks over to Skullcrusher, adjusting the saddle. Hiccup walks up to me and hands me a clipboard with a paper and a pen.
-Document every single crack, he says. I nod and mock salute him. He smirks at me.
-So, you two are still going strong? Hiccup asks and mentions to Eret. I look to him. D/n playfully nudges Eret's arm, as Eret tries to secure the dragons saddle.
-Yeah... He's the best, I say and see d/n jumping onto Eret, nearly knocking him over. Hiccup laughs.
-Good luck... and try not to fight. Play nice, Hiccup teases as he mounts toothless and flies away. I look after him and shake my head. 'What a dork'.
-Hey. You ready to go love? Eret asks me. I turn to him, clipboard in hand. I feel butterflies spread throughout my body and I feel myself nodding.
-Yep. Let's go big guy! I say and mount d/n and he mounts Skullcrusher. Eret chuckles and we take off.

We land on top of one of the statues.
-Ok... I say and look around.
-Should we go from top to bottom, or bottom to top? I ask and look at Eret. He looks at me, up and down and back up again and smirks.
-Top to bottom works for me, he says and winks. My whole face burns up and I am sure I must look like a beet.
-Eret!? I wheeze out and hit him harshly on his arm.
-Hey-ow! I was just joking! He says and rubs his arm. I frown, face still beet red. I look at him up and down myself and smile at his confused expression. His eyes pierced through mine and I couldn't help to admire him. All of him. His muscles flexed when a breeze flows by. His hair is neatly tied back and brings out his chiseled jaw structure. He breathes slowly and looks expectantly at me.
-Top to bottom works for me too, I say. His face turns pink and shocked before he chuckles.
-You're a fast learner, he says.
-I am... I admit and grab the handles at the front of my saddle.
-You ready to do this big guy? I ask. Eret nods and grabs his handles on his saddle.
-Of course. Now let's start so we can be finished before it gets dark, Eret taunts as we lift from the helmet of the big stone Viking... or, what was left of it. The big ice dragon had trampled down most of it. The other one next to us only had it's stone feet left in the water.

We look around the whole thing and while there weren't many cracks, there were many broken pieces that were close to falling off of the statue. And if they were to fall out, the whole thing was soon going to collapse. I check the check board as Eret looks at me.
-So? He asks and I look over to him.
-Is there something that can be saved? He asks. I sigh.
-I'm.... not sure... I mean, if that piece falls out... The whole thing is going to collapse, I say and purse my lips.
-So you're saying...? He asks and waves with his hand.
-We'll probably have to construct and build a new one... I say sadly.
-Oh... Well... we can do that, can't we? He asks.
-I guess... I mean, I say and smile a bit.
-It would be nice with a pop of color, I say. Eret smiles and flies closer to me. He grabs my hand and gives it a small squeeze.
-C'mon. Let's go eat something, I'm starving, Eret says. I look at the sky and notice that the sun lays a bit lower on the sky than when we started. I look back at him and smile.
-Yeah, lets go, I say and we both fly back to land.
