Chapter 4

~~~~[y/n] POV~~~~

I looked at my phone and see there's a new trend, I click on it and was surprised that my café was trending, I see people taking pictures with there coffee that I made, with there unique design

Also the little animal breads I made, seems people like there cute features

I smiled knowing that my business wasn't a bust, I got up and got ready, I decided to not open today since I'm interviewing potential employees

I had quite a stack to go through, and I had thirty minutes to get ready before the first person shows up, I got ready and watermelon landed on my shoulder while peaches followed behind me

I cleaned the place a little before the first person showed up, I took a deep breath and already knowing this is gonna be a long day

~~~~Time Skip~~~~

When I was done interviewing the last person I sighed out, it was physically draining the life out of me

I stretched my body out before going to the kitchen and making myself a cup of tea, when I walk out I see Midoriya standing outside looking at the sign that said 'closed'

I noticed he looked pretty beat up so I let him in "hey, what happened to you" I asked as he sat down at a table

"A lot of villains today" he said as he let a sigh out, but he still kept a smile, watermelon landed on his head while peaches laid comfortably on his lap

"Need anything?"

"A cup of green tea please" I started to make him one, once I did I sat across from him with my tea

"So, I'm guessing you like it here" I said as I took a sip, he let out a satisfying sigh when he took a sip

"I really do, there's something about your tea that draws me in..." he looks to my side and points at something "is that taiyaki?"

"Yeah, want one, I have one with red bean paste, chocolate, custard, cheese, and sweet potato"

"I'll have the red bean paste" I took one out and set it on a plate before giving it to him, he took a bite out and his face lit up

"Like it?"

"It's... amazing how you can cook" I blushed at the praise

"Thank you, glad you like it... eh anyways, how did you know about this place, I mean it's pretty small for anyone to notice"

"I was on my way home, you see the way I go home is the same route where I would run into your café, at the time I was craving something to drink so when I saw it I decided to try it out, and I'm glad I did, but anyways I would noticed sooner or later considering your café is trending"

"I guess, I'm really glad people like it here, I was paranoid that they'll think my cooking is bad, or my coffee's will taste funny"

"Well there not, it's really good, and I'm glad cause now I have a place to snack and rest, and better I can talk to you" we had a pink tint go across our cheeks when he said that

"That's nice of you to say, I'm glad we can talk"

"Yeah, I-I should get going though" he paid and we waved goodbye to each other

~~~~Time Skip Next Day~~~~

I decided on the new employees, there both males ages twenty and eighteen

The twenty year old is name Lucas, nickname Luke, he has a mocha hair color with blue eyes and has a beauty mark on his right cheek under his eye

The eighteen year old is named Alex, he has orange hair with hazel eyes and when he smiles you can see he has a sharp tooth, I find it adorable

They have a very friendly personality, they've both worked in groups and know how to take lead when a situation is bad, so it's good they have leadership in them

They also know how to bake and make coffee, and that's what I was looking for, they start today so I was currently getting ready

I look out the window to see a crowd of people standing outside my shop, I put my work clothes on, watermelon got on my shoulder, and peaches followed behind me

When I went outside I see them waiting for me to open it so I did, but warned them to come in calmly, I see Luke and Alex come in with wide eyes

"This is a lot of people" Luke said, Alex nodded in agreement

"Come on, Luke you start baking, and Alex start making coffee, I'll take orders and help you guys out as much as I can, now go! go! go!" they quickly went to there positions, I start taking orders and showing them how to work things

They quickly caught on, and are now working like it's nothing, I was surprised at how well they've gotten used to things

We where working hard, but it was good since I've raised an incredible amount of money, I can maybe expand my business, but for now I'm sticking with what I got

~~~~Time Skip~~~~

After we where done we began to clean up, and make the dough for the next day, I hear a faint knock and see Midoriya waving at me, I let him in and we talk for awhile

"Holy shit!!!" we stop our conversation and look to our side and see Alex freaking out "It's Deku!!"

"What are you talking ab- oh shit it is" Luke popped his head out from the kitchen door

"Language boys"

"Sorry" they both said

"So the usual Midoriya" I said getting behind the counter

"Ahhh... let's mix it up, may I have the lavender mocha, decaf, and one of your cat bread, chocolate filling"

"You got it, staying for a chat or is that to go"

"It seems your busy, so I'll take it to go"

"Alright" he paid and left with his things while Luke and Alex looked at me like I'm sort of goddess "you guys okay?"

"You know Deku!? And you didn't tell us?!"

"He always comes once we close since people bombarded him, so expect to meet him more often" the where squealing like girls

"I know it's the first day on the job, and I've never said this, but I'm gonna be honest, I love this job!!" Alex said while twirling in delight

"It's pretty cool how your friends with Deku, how did you guys meet" Luke said leaning on the counter

"We meet like a few days ago" I said, they look at me with another shocked face

"He must really like you if you guys are friends that fast, I mean he's really busy, yet he makes time to see you, that's cool" Alex was still dancing and I stood there thinking about what Luke said

'Does he like me?... pfffft he probably has like a girlfriend or wife, I mean with a body like his- shut the fuck up brain'
