Chapter 10 - A Certain Sudden Rebrith Of Code Vader

"It's chips I promise you'll like it." Tedashii opened up a set of ground beef, carefully chopping it up and grilling it. Warming up the cheese as Akahana walks over aside from him studying and analyzing his cooking. Through a simple meal Tedashii enjoyed the time and conversation spent while preparing her food even demonstrating the simple dish. "Are you ready?" Tedashii said placing the chips neatly on the plate and covering some of the meat on it along with pouring the cheese sauce on it. Preparing and finishing up the dish and placing it on the counter where the chair was already set up for her to sit and eat.

Akahana stares at the plate puzzled looking over to utensils being washed.

"There's no fork because you have to take the chip, dipping it into the meat and cheese." Tedashii explains waving his hands.

Akahana studies the meal tilting back and forth at the dish. It made Tedashii kinda frown realizing she never ate something so simple as nachos. "...You promise?" Akahana asks, staring at Tedashii, her dull stare hid sorrow with her shallow eyes.

"Yes." Tedashii replied watching her take a chip out from under the meat and cheese and taking a bite. Her eyes beam up and cheek spout red. She quickly uses both hands digging into the nachos eating like a baby child would.

"Hey! Fufu!" Tedashii chuckles while trying to slow Akahana down. "Be careful now you're making a mess and eating too fast you might end up choking on your food. After Akahana finished eating, she gotten tired and Tedashii carry her to his room.

"... Tedashii," Akahana said in a weak pitch, while Tedashii raised the covers over her body to her shoulders. "... You study my digestion patterns and soft reset cycles..."

"Yeah I did, and you mean sleep cycles. The only reason that happened is because you're human." Tedashii said with a faint smile, while Akahana pouted.

"That's not fair, Tedashii... you were supposed to make it back to follow up on your promise to engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose with me..."

"Sorry, I'll make it up to you. Though it might not be right away. I have to attend the Daihasei festival pretty soon and there's no code out of it either. Not to mention my school screw me over so there's a high possibility I will be staying after school a lot."

"... The Daihasei festival, the Grand Champion Star Festival, Daihasei Festival which is an annual large scale sports festival which takes place in Academy City. Every year during which Academy City is partially open to outside visitors, the week-long, city-wide, inter-school sporting competition where students from all schools compete in various athletic events, with the use of esper abilities permitted... So instead of engaging in activities with me, you choose to play sports with others." Akahana's comment left Tedashii sighing while scratching his head.

"Then how about a request, what do you wanna do when this is all over, and I'll figure something out to make it happen."

"... I wanna dance."

"Huh?"

"... Daddy promised tha..." Akahana eyes shut, and she unconsciously tilted her head over falling asleep.

"To dance huh? Geez where does that come from?" Tedashii said, sighing and scratching his head once more. "Just how the hell imma make that happen when I don't even know how to dance."

Tedashii left his room closing the door, he walked over, turning his pc on, and clench his fist while looking at the screen. "Damn it... I couldn't have done anything there, I really let those bum Espers do as they please. And why did I even bother? Code Vader is done right? I lost interest to eradicate Academy City... but still. Why do I feel like something is coming from within me? Like there's more left, like there's a new mission. Damn it the path is unclear and I never make moves that hazy to me but still, there's just something I need to prove. Tedashii clicked on a program that labeled the CV symbol, and as he stood up the app after entering the code.
