"Here." Tacoy's nephew gave me a mamon, a kind of cake, "Give the other one to your girlfriend."
"Girlfriend?"
"Ate Beautiful."
In the end, I just chuckled at him. I then looked for Freya, only to see her on the balcony, smiling as usual. I then decided to go there with her. Sooner, I stood beside her on the balcony, causing her to look at me.
"Tacoy's nephew gave this to me and to you, Ate Beautiful." I smiled, giving her the cake.
"Ate Beautiful?"
"That's what he calls you."
"Oh." She giggled as we both opened the pack and ate the mamon.
"Little guy said that you're my girl." I sighed, "It's hard to tell him that we're not together. It may ruin his childhood for the rest of his life."
"Same with Maria and Macoy huh?"
"Huh?"
"They had a bet about us. They're betting where we'll fall in love. In Biliran or someplace else."
"Scary."
Scary to the fact that it's real, that I like you.
"Yeah." She smiled, "I told them that you're out of my league."
You're out of my league.
"What?"
Shit. Did I say that out loud?
"Hmm?"
"You're mumbling."
What the fuck!
"Oh. I said they look fun down there."
"Oh yeah."
I sighed. That was close.
"Harry?"
"Hmm?"
"Do boys look for weird girls as a girlfriend?"
"Why do you ask that?"
"Random thought."
"Weird means special. So yes, they're looking for weird girls."
"Are you?"
"Well, I'm looking for someone who's like Maria in terms of personality."
"And have you found her?"
"Yes. I have found her."
It's you.
"And?"
"I can't tell her."
"Why not?"
Because I don't think I deserve you.
"She's out of my league."
"That's impossible. Just tell her. I'll help you."
How can you help me if it's you that I like? You're the girl I'm talking about?
I smiled, "Thanks Freya."
We then continued looking down at the celebration.
