It had been a few days since you had hung out with Jimin.
You had fallen asleep at his house that night and had come home the next morning.
Your parents hadn't even noticed that you had been gone.
You had been taking a nap dreaming of nothing in particular when you were woken up by the sound of screaming.
The yelling sounded worse than it ever had before.
You were sure the neighbors could hear their every word .
You were alarmed by the sound of your sister's sobs and sniffles.
She never cried.
You ran out of your room but froze when you saw the scene in the hallway.
Your dad was carrying a suitcase and was trying to leave.
It was happening.
This is it, this is the end of your family and you knew it.
Your mother and father stopped yelling when you walked up to them.
They glanced at you before turning back to each other.
"Just get the **** out of here I don't want you here anymore." Your mom growled at your dad and then she she turned away from him and stormed to her room.
She didn't say anything to you or your sister.
Sohae continued to wail in pain.
Your dad looked more tired and defeated than ever.
"I'm sorry..." he said.
Your sister moved to embrace him, clinging to him and crying harder.
Your faced burned and your vision blurred as tears began to fall down your face.
Your dad motioned for you to hug him and you hugged both your dad and sisters.
I wonder when i'll get to see him again.
I wonder how long it will be.
"w-where are you going dad?.." you sister asked between sobs.
"I'm going to stay with your uncle for awhile."
He let go of you and your sister and started to open the door.
"No dad don't leave!," you sister pulled him back trying to keep him from leaving.
You could seen him start to shed tears.
He pulled his arm away and left.
Your sister ran to her room and you were left standing there in the hallway alone.
Why did your family have to end this way?
Why?
You sat down at the island in the kitchen and mindlessly looked through the mail.
You saw a letter addressed to you from
the school and you opened it.
Your grades came in.

The report card was the final straw as you broke down into tears and began letting out the sobs that were long overdue.
Your heart felt like it was torn and destroyed.
What were you going to do now?
Your future had crumbled into dirt, and your family was broken.
A thought entered you head.
A thought that felt a lot like something you needed.

Jimin's POV:
Jimin was pulling into his parking space arriving home from work when he got a call from y/n.
"Hello?"
"Jimin.."
Her voice sounded hoarse and melancholy, like she had been crying.
It awakened a feeling of alertness and protectiveness in him.
"Y/n, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
She explained everything to him.
It hurt him to hear how she was hurting, and to feel like he couldn't do anything about it.
"Did you mean what you said about going with me?"
"Yes of course I did."
He planned things with her, about when they would leave and where they would go.
They weren't leaving forever, only for two weeks.
Their university allowed for their students to take two week breaks during the year, and neither of them had used the break yet.
When they had finished their plan Jimin wished her goodnight and ended the call before going inside the house.
He had another call to make.
He phoned the school office.
"Hello I would like to request a vacation starting next week."
