Everything she told him was an agonizing Lie.
"Honey, in our world the words like love and Loyalty don't exist." She broke into a sinister laugh rubbing the gun under her chin and looked at the badly injured boy wit...
“Okay…but please try not to cause any more trouble.” Mum said and surprisingly Jaebum nodded. Everyone finished and walked towards their rooms to get ready; I also went to my room and changed into something decent.

I walked downstairs and saw Jaebum sitting on the couch all dressed playing with his phone. Jaebum decided to work in Eomma’s company; after all he has full right to do so. I was really happy for him as he is finally doing something which is good for him. I plopped myself beside him and looked at him who was busy playing not noticing my presence. I smirked, something mischievous going on in my mind.
“Stop smirking like an idiot.” He said noticing my smirk from his peripheral vision.
“You are no fun.” I groaned.
“Hanbin… are you alright?” He asked as the whole aura of the conversation darkened and I sat there glum. After a few seconds of silence, I spoke up.
“Jaebum whatever happened is the past I want to move on but you know it really well, even better than me that…I can’t get over it, I can’t get over him.” My voice a whisper in the end.
“I won’t blame you or stop with that, but please don’t mess up your life anymore. Try your best but please save yourself from drowning again. Have faith in the almighty God and everything will be alright.” He said his words somehow affecting me positively. I nodded at him and smiled.
After a short talk Hyunjin and Eomma both came down and we all decided to leave. Jaebum with Eomma and I with Hyunjin. I got into the car and buckled my seatbelt. Hyunjin started the car and drove out of the House onto the highway.
“Hyunjin should I really go there?” I asked being double minded suddenly. He rubbed his eyes and sighed.
“Hanbin you know what you are really scared of everything, at least give it a try. We all know even Jinyoung knows that everything is not completely your fault you yourself are taking the whole blame over yourself. Trust me, I know it sounds so freaking cringe, but deep down he still had those same feelings for you. So be confident and get him back.” I’d lost faith in myself, and everyone else as the one whom I trusted the most led me down, dad. But here was Hyunjin, picking up my shattered confidence and handing it back to me. His offer seemed improbably generous-and yet, what did I have to lose?
“OK,” I said, a little shyly. “And…thank you.”
“That’s it!” he beamed and then sped off.
He honked the horn and after a few moments the doors opened. He drove in and parked the car in the parking lot. We both unbuckled our seat belts and went towards the entrance. I overall looked confident, but still my lungs constricted and my throat closed tight as an airlock,
“Will you be okay?” Hyunjin asked. Reluctantly, I nodded, and his eyes softened.
“Everything will be alright Hanbin.” I wish for that too. The door opened and three people stood in the living room, all three whom I recognized, for an instant my eyes glazed with sorrow and I could taste tears in the back of my throat but I pushed them back and walked ahead. I felt that they would freak out, but none of them did, not Jinyoung’s mother nor his father neither Hana.
