With belly full and spirits alight

The girl went on and she walked

Through the mountains and trees

She walked and she walked

And she couldn't remember what she was looking for

And she was angry and sad

So she almost turned back

And when she turned

She saw her path was gone

And the wolf was eating the coins

She yelled at the wolf, "What have you done?

Now I'll never get home."

The wolf looked at her and she looked at it

And it opened its mouth and said,

"You want to be free.

There's no path to be free.

You're better off lost, as are we."

The wolf, it went off,

And the girl was alone

And she didn't know where to go
