Danny put his hand on the table filled with food and champagne tower the size of a man. The tall tower and it immediately came tumbling down. Every single glass happened to fall on Danny and he was drenched from head to toe. Qiao Chen's feet were also soaked from the champagne.

Danny fell to the ground and looked at Qiao Chen with an innocent and confused look on his face. This made it seem as though Qiao Chen knocked over the champagne tower to humiliate him even though this was someone else's party.

Everyone at the party heard the sound of crashing cups and looked over.

"Are you okay, Danny?" Chad immediately ran over and picked Danny up.

"You've gone too far Qiao An. You're honestly getting worse and worse. When will you be satisfied and stop targeting Danny already?" Benji angrily said to Qiao Chen.

Chad confirmed that nothing was wrong with Danny. Then he turned his attention to Qiao Chen and reproached, "You can even play these tricks on Danny even on such an occasion. To think that you'd be that excessive towards him... You've really changed, Qiao An"

Chad and Benji were once Qiao An's best friends. They were the closest to him besides his family members. One held feelings for him, while the other was his confidant. They also hate Danny with him, but after Danny's multiple schemes, they all ended up on Danny's side. Qiao An would have never thought that his beloved best friends would end up to be the ones who accused him first whenever Danny had an accident.

"Can't you understand the time and the place, Qiao An? This is the Lex family's party, how can you be so impulsive?" Chad's mother frowned and looked at Qiao Chen. She and Qiao Chen's mother were childhood friends who grew up together. So even though she didn't like Danny much, he original love and care for Qiao An lessened and lessened due to his impulsive behavior. It nearly disappeared once she watched Qiao An standing at the center of the crowd's attention. Qiao Chen calmly took his handkerchief out, wiped the champagne off his face, and held the wet cloth in his hand. Danny's mechanical shield fell from his waist and landed askew on the floor.

Danny immediately bent over to pick it up, but Qiao Chen reached the mechanical shield that clattered in front of him first. After a quick glance, he held it high up, showed the screen to the crowd, and said, "Your mechanical shield shows that you used a low grade weakening ability exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds ago."

Qiao Chen took off his coat and said, "I don't even have a mechanical shield on me. So pray tell, how was I able to make the entire champagne tower fall on you, and only you? Don't tell me, did I do all of that using your mechanical shield?"

"I...." Danny couldn't come up with an excuse for himself immediately. He never thought that the second he was about to clear the usage log that the mechanical shield would suddenly fall to the floor.

Chad, Benji, and the crowd looked at Danny doubtfully. Almost everyone here knew that Qiao An was an unstable ability user with an F rank. No one knew that Qiao Chen was able to use his ability without a mechanical shield. Qiao Chen took advantage of this and used his ability to cause Danny's mechanical shield to fall.

"I may have accidentally pressed it, so..." Danny finally said. He took too long to come up with an excuse, so he could only use this weak one.

"Accidentally pressed it? Then why didn't you say that it was your mechanical shield that caused the champagne tower fall down?" Qiao Chen replied and threw Danny back his mechanical shield.
