Ch 16

[Mina's POV]

It was a boring day today. I didn't see Chaeyoung. Maybe she was absent?

I was walking with Momo and Sana in the school corridor.
I suddenly felt someone grab my hand.  I turned back and it was Chaeyoung.

Before I could greet her, she pulled me and pinned me to the wall.

This was too surprising for me. She came closer. I clearly became a blushing mess.

"Chaengi-" I tried calling her

But I was cut off as she brought her lips to mine.

My heart was racing. I didn't know what was happening. I somehow feared if Momo and Sana will see us.

"C-chaeyoung! Momo and Sana are here too" I whispered to her.

But I also didn't want her to stop.

I suddenly heard the sound of my alarm from nowhere.
I opened my eyes and found myself in my bed.
It was a dream? Fck!

I was sweating. I tried thinking about the dream. I couldn't control my thoughts. I just shook it off.

I quickly got up of bed and got ready for school.

~fast forward~

I reached school and was greeted by my friends.

I didn't see Chaeyoung in the morning.
After our first break was over, I went to my classroom.
"Minari!" I heard someone call my name.

It was Momo and Sana. We started walking together.
I remembered this scene. The scene in my dream. It was the exact place too.

"Mina unnie." I heard a familiar voice from the back.

It was Chaengie. Oh my God. Why is this happening?!

She just greeted and smiled at me.

I was so nervous.

[Chaeyoung's POV]

I greeted her. But something was off.

She was shocked to see me. I don't know why. I greeted her. Which she reciprocated nervously.

"Hey Chaeyoungie!" it was Sana and Momo.

"Hi unnies" I replied with a smile.

"See you at lunch" I added.

"Ok bye" both of them said except for Mina who was still looking nervous.

After that I went straight to my classroom.

After a long wait, it was time for lunch. Dayhun, Tzuyu and I headed for the cafeteria.

On the way, I got to know that Sana already confessed to Tzuyu. Tzuyu had feelings for her too.

We reached our place. Everyone was present. I smiled at Mina unnie. And she smiled back too.

Suddenly Nayeon brought the topic about yesterday.
"Oh my gawd! You guys are finally dating right?! " she said loud enough for everyone in our table to hear.

The others looked at us in amazement.

"What?!" Mina unnie and I said in unison.

"Don't act. I saw you guys yesterday." she smirked at us.

The others gasped. Leaving me embarrassed.

"Yesterday? What happened yesterday?"
"You're hiding it from us?"
"Not fair."
"We're your friends too."
They started commenting and teasing us.

"It was nothing. There was just a misunderstanding between us. So we were talking about it." Mina unnie quickly defended.

"Oh so you solved it by hugging each other? Hugging each other so passionately I even thought I was watching a romantic movie." Nayeon unnie scoffed and said in a teasing tone.

I could see Mina unnie's face turning light red.

"Yaaaa unnieee don't exaggerate it!" I spoke too. Trying to hold in my blushing and chuckle.

They just teased us for some minutes.

The sound of the bell was heard and we headed back to our class.

~fast forward~

I reached home. My parents didn't return from work. So basically there was my brother.

He was also in his room. We actually don't talk much. Not that I don't love him but I just don't have a good bond with my family members.

I regret that.

I can't open up to anyone. Never did. I don't think I ever can.

Oof. Life is depressing.

I took a shower laid in my bed and checked my notifications.

Apparently, I was added to a group chat.
