Ch 10

[Mina's POV]

We had a lot of fun today.
As we were to depart, I told that I was gonna take the subway.

So it seems Chaeyoung had the same plans.

"I'm gonna take the subway too" Chaeyoung said.

"That's good then. Mina won't have to go alone. Why don't you go together?" Jihyo added.

I simply nodded with a smile.

So Chaeyoung and I were walking to the station.

We were having some small talks while walking.

As we were walking, we came past a coffee shop.

"Mina unnie, do you like coffee?"

'hm?  Yes. Wbu?'

"yes. I like it too. Not a fan but I like it."

'Ohh okay why though?'

"Well actually, I heard about this coffee shop from my friends. I wanted to come her once. Would you mind having coffee with me?" she chuckled as she said that last line.

'Sure.' I replied

She entered the shop and I followed her.

"ohh... Not bad for a student. That's why the other students come here often." Chaeyoung slowly said as she checked the place and got us a table.

She asked me what I'd like so I just replied 'a cappuccino will be fine.'

"Ommo! I was gonna say that too!" she giggled showing her dimples.

So after our coffee arrived, Chaeyoung took out her phone and asked me "Unnie, would you mind if I take a picture of you?"

'eh? Why?' I giggled at her sudden request.

Ommo did she get flustered? She's red. I was internally laughing at her reactions.

[Chaeyoung's POV]

I really wanted to take a picture of her.
Honestly, she's really elegant.

So I asked if I could take a picture of her.
She responded in such a way that made me embarrassed.

Ahh...!  Am I red again?!

"Sure" I heard Mina unnie say that.

I quickly went to the camera and though I said 'A picture' I took around 15.

After all that was my chance.

[Mina's POV]

After that, we directly headed to the station.

It was seriously kinda crowded. Ugh.

We didn't get a seat. Noice.

But it's OK. Our stop is not far from here.

As Chaeyoung and I were standing, she suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to her.

I was really shocked and confused.

[Chaeyoung's POV]

I was standing next to Mina unnie.

There was a man infront of us. I don't actually know but he was definitely staring at Mina unnie.

I just ignored it in the beginning but damn... this guy. Is he checking her out?!

I got furious. But since I was not 100% sure, I couldn't do anything.

Did Mina unnie notice him yet?

Ugh.. What should I do?

I just pulled her closer to me. Yeah yeah I did that. Since I couldn't think of anything else. Then, I glared at him.

Luckily, that man saw us and left after that.

Phew...

But as I looked at Mina, I could see the  confused expression on her face.

I was still holding her waist.

I felt as if I was gonna explode because of the embarrassment.

I decided to explain to make things less awkward.

[Mina's POV]

"You see that man that was standing infront of us? He was checking you out. So I had to do that. Sorry. " Chaeyoung explained as fast as possible.

Ommo... After she said that, I could feel butterflies.

Why does she have to be like this?

If Chaeyoung was a boy, I would have definitely fallen for her.

I blushed and let out a faint 'gomawo Chaeyoungie'

"A-ah not a thing unnie." She replied.

This situation was really awkward.

[Author's POV]

They reached their stop not long after that.
They bid each other goodbyes and Mina thanked Chaeyoung once again for earlier.

They went back to their own direction both smiling from ear to ear thinking about each other.
