A real CATCH (Garroth x Reader)

"What are you all staring at."

Katelyn and Aphmau seemed to be just as surprised as I was because all of us turned around and jumped back. "Do not do that." Aphmau exclaimed a little more excited then she needed to be as she smacked Garroth in the chest with the back of her hand.

"Owey my boob." Garroth whined holding his hand to his chest.

"You don't have boobs." Katelyn said raising an eye brow at him.

"Says who." Garroth asked tilting his head towards her.

"Says me," Katelyn said her voice going slightly higher, "now could you tell us why Mr. Casanova is trying to swallow that girl."

"What do you mean, isn't that what he normally does?" Garroth asked confused. In that moment, Katelyn, Aphmau, and I, all seemed to give Garroth a look of shock. Was he completely unaware of Laurance spending almost every second of his life with Lucinda. I mean Katelyn did announce it to everyone the night we all stayed at Garroth's.

"What do you mean 'that's what he normally does'." Katelyn asked mimicking him.

"I just didn't think you were normally that interested in who Laurance was smooth talking." Garroth said taking a step back clearly seeing the look that we all gave him.

"Can you not tell that-" I was cut off by Laurance who was apparently done smacking lips.

"Where's Lucinda?" He asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Aphmau asked glaring up at him.

"What's that mean." Laurance asked looking from Aphmau to Garroth and then back to Aphmau. Aphmau slumped her shoulders with a 'huff' and then walked off to first period.

"What, what does that mean?" Laurance asked holding his hands out waiting for an answer.

"I'm going to first period Y/N, you coming?" Katelyn asked already starting to walk off.

"Yeah sure." I said readjusting the things I was holding and then walking to catch up with Katelyn.

"Y/N wait." Garroth said grabbing my arm so I would slow down but walking with me so I wouldn't be late anyway.

"Yeah." I asked looking at him.

"Did I," He paused "did I say something."

"We just thought you were smarter than what you just said." I said smirking at him, I grabbed onto his shoulder and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. "I'll talk to you later."

Apparently word got around to all the girls fast. Cadenza, who was most likely told by Aphmau, hit Laurance in the back of the head as soon as she neared the lunch table.

"Ow what was that for." Laurance whined holding his hand to the back of his head.

"You baffle me Laurance." Cadenza said sitting down next to her brother, who Lucinda had specifically not sat by.

"What did I do?" Laurance asked narrowing his eyebrows at Cadenza. Lucinda whispered something to Nicole making them both burst into a fit of laughter.

Garroth sat down backwards at the lunch table with his back against the table. He used his hands as a plate for a piece of cake that he most likely bought from the school, and got weird looks for doing so. "You know," He said talking to no one in particular, "I don't think the schools food is that bad." Garroth said craming the last bite of cake into his mouth.

"You sound like Laurance." Aphmau, who was also sitting next to Garroth, said. I smirked knowing that Aphmau was right, Laurance eats the schools lunch every day no matter what it is.

"I'm a growing boy Aph." Garroth said slouching down so far that his his shoulders were below the table and his neck pressed against it.

"Yeah you are." I said rolling my eyes and turning straight forward instead of towards him.

"What's that mean huh." Garroth asked. He smirked and reached across my stomach, grabbing the side if my waist opposite to him. He sat up straight and pressed his fingers to my stomach, threatening to tickle me like a toddler.

"Let go of me." I laughed instantly moving my hands to grip his arm. Garroth grinned at me and pulled his hand back to his side, ultimately deciding he wouldn't embarrass me in front of everyone.

"Are you going to the game tonight." Garroth asked leaning his elbows back on the table.

"Yeah, I thought everyone was." I said looking down at my hands for no reason in particular.

"Yeah everyone is." Garroth said. "I just thought we could go back to my house after." This time he was the one trying not to look me in the eyes.

"I was just with you all night." I laughed looking up at him.

"I know, sorry." Garroth said biting his top lip. I took his hand, which hung lifeless over the side of the table, and moved it so I could intertwine our fingers.

"I can't spend every night at your house you know." I said.

"Sure you can." Garroth said meeting my eyes and smirking at me.
