I'm writing and editing this as I get the motivation and have the time, so please be patient.
I am also constantly editing the story from beginning to end to be cohesive.

Jungkook was just leaving his apartment when he caught wind of the hustle and bustle of the movers that were speedily throwing boxes to each other in a conveyor belt-like fashion in the wide hallways of the complex in front of his loft.

I wonder who could be moving in? These lofts are expensive... I can't even believe I paid as much as I did when the guys and I spend all of our time in the communal house anyway.

And why are they moving in so damn early?

He thought fondly of the common house that the seven of them had come together to buy. 10 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and an infinite amount of luxuries and work studios for all of them. He shut the door behind him to his loft, listened for the auto-lock sound, and secured his bag as he prepared to go to practice. It was 6 AM.

His disheveled long hair was hanging in front of his eyes as he pulled his face mask on and got into the chauffeured vehicle downstairs.

Jungkook's driver pulled up to the place that all 7 boys lovingly called their home, despite all having their own places. He grabbed his bag and walked to the front door as he watched the driver leave the circle drive.

He opened the door with the electronic keypad and was welcomed with lots of boisterous noise and music coming from the dining area. It seemed like everybody was downstairs instead of upstairs in the bedroom areas.

He followed the sound of Hoseok's voice until he found his group mates
hanging around the breakfast table chatting loudly as Jin cooked breakfast for them.

"Jungkook! You're here. Finally, now that everybody is here I can tell you guys that my sister is flying in late tonight with a friend. They're going to be staying here for a while, so we need to clean up the space as well- PD nim's orders, he has had people in and out of the house all day setting up a private space for them. They're flying in from America and landing tonight-" Hoseok got cut off my Taehyung's excitement.

"A friend? Is it a girl friend? Why are they staying here? Is she pretty? How is Jiwoo? How does Jiwoo know her? What are-"

"Tae! Stop, let Hobi finish," Jimin exasperated.

Jungkook hadn't even stepped through the doorframe yet. He laughed and threw his bag on the floor of the kitchen and sat down to eat as he continued to listen to his bickering brothers.

"Anyway, they're staying here because her friend is actually here to work with us. PD nim wants us to record a series of VLIVE videos with her because she is a popular celebrity chef who is opening a restaurant in Seoul and featuring a 7-course meal inspired by BTS. She has also been a good friend of Jiwoo's since they were kids," Hoseok finishes.

Everyone 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as they receive the news.

"But wait, Hobi, how come you don't know her?" Taehyung questions.

"I barely remember her as a kid. She was very little. Also she and her family spent most of their time in America, but she is Korean. Jiwoo kept in touch and would visit them often. She's a year or so older than Jungkook, I think, but I haven't seen her since she was 8! So when Jiwoo told me she is a chef now, I was very surprised, honestly, and that's all I know," Hoseok explained in an exasperated tone.

"A chef, huh? I wonder if her food will be better than Jin's?" Namjoon pondered.

"How could you even wonder that. My food is made with love for you guys," Jin retorted.

"Can you guys pass the meat," Yoongi muttered under his breath, barely awake.

"Anyway, let's eat! We need the energy and sustenance to practice later!" Hoseok exclaimed. Everyone cautiously ate because they all knew what it really meant.. they were gonna practice til their legs fell off or Hoseok ran out of patience. Whichever came first.

Jungkook's phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out to check and it was IU.

Jungkook hadn't seen IU in a few weeks. Their schedules were so different now. Things had been rough and, unfortunately, publicly so. They were known to the public as the "on-again-off-again" couple for the last 4 years now. He was just too comfortable. He knew the relationship. It may be unstable but it was familiar. In a world full of idols and fans, it was incredibly difficult to date, as is. Jungkook was just grateful to have IU, even if they argued sometimes and even if they saw each other rarely.

He put his phone away, leaving her on read- however thoughtlessly- and continued in the merriment that was in front of him with his group mates.
