Chapter 22: First come, First serve
Marco's POV
The sun is shining directly above me, I'm sweating and I'm sure that I smell bad. I arrived at Aureli's cafe, and before I went inside I looked for Kalirea through the window. It was easy for me to spot her since her blue hair stands out too much. I saw her at the usual table, papers all over the table and pens scattered all over the table. She looks so focused on reviewing and studying her textbooks.
Nagpabango muna ako bago tuluyang pumasok sa loob. I sat in front of her and she noticed me right away. Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin at bumalik sa pagrereview.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"I was looking for you everywhere! I even waited outside your building tapos wala ka naman" Sabi ni Kalirea
"Something urgent came up, sorry na" Sabi ko
"Anong sorry na? Hmp bahala ka dyan" Sabi niya at naglagay ng earphones sa tenga niya
Nagtampo na naman po siya.
Kinulit ko siya at niyugyog ang kamay niya hanggat sa mainis siya.
"Ano ba?!" sigaw niya sa akin
"Hala galit na yan" I teased
"Di ba halata?!" sabi niya at inirapan ako
"Sorry naaa" Malambing kong sinabi sa kanya
"Oo na! Wag ka lang makulit!" sabi niya at napangiti lang ako
We stayed at the cafe studying for a few hours. Aureli's cafe is a good place for studying, hangouts and more. It looks like a Parisian cafe, it's a really beautiful place. It has that ambient that I can't feel or see on any other cafes.
Pagkatapos namin ay hinatid ko siya sa labas ng condo niya at agad ring umalis. May general assembly daw kami ngayon sabi ni Esran.
Dumeretso ako sa bahay ni Melo kung saan lahat ay nagtipon tipon maliban nalang kay Miles at Kalirea.
Nandito si Esran, Melo, Alystra, Eleven, Neivan, Blast, Nich and most importantly si Iron.
Si Crystal at Larkin naman ay kavideo chat namin gamit ang Ipad ni Iron
Nagulat ako nang may makita akong batang babae.
"O kaninong anak to?!" gulat na gulat kong tanong habang lahat naman sila'y nagtatawanan
"Ganyan din reaction naming lahat kanina eh" sabi ni Esran
"Anak ko yan par" sabi ni Nich
"May anak ka na?!"
Nagtawanan sila sa reaction ko lalo na itong si Alystra at Esran.
Ipinakilala sa amin ni Nich ang kanyang anak na si Yna. She's 3 years old and she's a really cute kid.
Ito namang si Iron ay libang na libang kay Yna. Nakikipaglaro pa ito sa bata habang kami'y nauusap.
"Oh kamusta naman yung movie na dinedirect mo?" Tanong ni Alystra kay Melo
"Well, its going pretty well. Though the actors are a bit hard to manage, they are still perfect for the role" sabi ni Melo
"Kelan ang premiere? Anong title?" Tanong ni Crystal mula sa screen (video chat)
"It's called La Union" sagot ni Melo
"Isn't that a province here in the country?" Eleven asked
"Yup, dun kasi ang setting namin. Its about a broken hearted girl going to La union and meeting someone who will make her whole again" Melo explained
