I pull the last stone out from the walls then climb into the window. I pull myself up and into my wardrobe full of all my hideous dresses, shoes, jewellery and bags. I cringe as I walk past a row of sequined dresses. How many sequins and sparkles can they put on a single dress?

I open the door ever so slightly and check if the coast is clear. The room is empty so I step into my huge room. I quickly change out of my jeans and shirt and into a blue knee length dress. I hide my other clothes in a small hiden cupboard behind my bedside table.

As if on cue, there's a knock on my huge, white double doors. I stand up and check for any dirt on my hands then open the door. My maids, Lily, Christine and Mellany stand there with a few plates.

They curtsy then enter. "My lady, the kitchen staff have decided that since your 13th birthday is in two days they shall be cooking your favourite dishes for the whole week." Christine explains as she places a dish of food on a nearby table.

"Thank you Christine. Please thank the kitchen staff for me." I say. "Of course your majesty." They all nod and curtsy then exit.

Ignoring the food, I walk back into the wardrobe and to the window. I lean out to admire my work. You can hardly tell that the bricks are pulled out. It took me two months to get it done but it was worth it. I will try it out tomorrow night but my legs hurt from the high climb from the rose garden below.

I cover the plates of food with their lids then retire to my bed. I collapse onto my huge bed wondering if the steps will work. Well, I guess I will find out tomorrow but for now I need to rest my aching legs.
