The first thing Rose noticed when she woke up was how tired she was and the strange feeling in her arm. The next thing she noticed was that she was in the Hospital Wing and Harry, Hermione and Ron were also there. Rose slowly sat up with a groan, gaining the attention of her friends.

"Lyn!" Ron said excitedly. Hermione gasped and tackled Rose into a hug, covering her face with hair.

"Hello. It's Rose by the way," Rose replied. Ron grumbled a little at the sudden change in names, but shrugged as if to say he would try to do better.

"Sorry about him. We've reminded him a thousand times and he just hasn't listened," Harry explained, also hugging Rose. Ron leaned over and gave her a short hug.

"It's fine," Rose said with a small smile on her face, leaning back into her pillow before shooting up in a panic. "Wait! Where's my dad? And Moony?"

"They're ok. Hermione and I kinda went back in time and saved your dad and we assume your godfather is ok saying as we haven't heard anything different. We also saved Buckbeak, who your dad flew away on," Harry explained. Rose stared at him and then Ron and Hermione, trying to see if they were going to laugh at how ridiculous he sounded.

"Wait, what?" Rose said upon seeing that no one was joking.

"I've been using a Time Turner to get to all my classes. We used it last night to go back in time and get Buckbeak and then save your dad. He says that he'll see you soon and he loves you, by the way," Hermione chimed in. Ron nodded his head, having heard the story before. Rose just looked at them as if they were crazy but was unable to say anything as Madam Pomfrey came over to where they were.

"Oh, goodness! You're awake! You three, you're free to go. Lyn, you're going to stay here so I can look at that arm," Madam Pomfrey said. The trio all stood up with guilty looks on their faces.

"My arm?" Rose asked, a confused look on her face until she realized that her godfather had scratched her in his werewolf form. She let out a small 'oh' and waved bye to her friends.

"The scratch wasn't too deep. You passed out when you fell back and hit your head but I was able to fix your concussion last night. Your arm, on the other hand..." Madam Pomfrey said, shaking her head some, a sad and worried look on her face. The nurse pulled back the bandages surrounding Rose's arm.

"How bad is it?" Rose asked, looking away from all the blood.

"Not as bad as I thought. We were able to put medicine on it rather quickly, so it might not scar that bad."

"Oh, good," Rose muttered. She felt almost no relief as she knew that her godfather was doing nothing but blaming himself.

"It sure is!" Madam Pomfrey said with a smile, changing the bandages and putting more medicine on the cut.

"When can I leave?" Rose asked, not liking the atmosphere of the room, no fault of the kind nurse, but rather the bad feeling in her own stomach.

"Well, since the cut isn't too bad, you can leave now. If you hurry, you can maybe say bye to your godfather," the nurse replied, using her wand to get rid of the old bandages.

"Say bye? Why?" Rose questioned, confusion clear on her face.

"Well...Professor Lupin resigned this morning. I shouldn't have told you. I'm very sorry," Madam Pomfrey said with a regretful look on her face.

"No...it's ok. Thank you," Rose said as she stood up. The nurse nodded and walked away, closing the curtains so Rose could change into some clean clothes that a house elf had brought for her. Rose changed quicker than she ever had and then ran to her godfathers office. The door was open and two familiar voices streamed out.
