[song for chapter: MY LOVE-HOJEAN] November 5th 2044 Yumi's POV: [ 7:30pm ] the sound of my fresh acrylic nails tapping on my nightstand echoes throughout my silent room. I turned off the music I was playing so I can focus and figure out a outfit. ugh,what do I wear? pink? ugh too obnoxious. red? screams trying too hard. I throw myself onto my bed & scream loudly but my screams are muffled thankfully by my pillow.

after my toddler tantrum I finally find a outfit (shown above^) after putting the final touches together,I look in the mirror and smile. a idea clicks in my head. I pull out my phone and I let my cardigan slide down my arms halfway. I pose & snap a photo for Instagram. I quickly cover myself a little more with the cardigan when I hear heavy footsteps leading to my room. I caption the photo "date night vibes ;)" & instantly I get a text from my favorite boy.
"Mingi💗: looking cutesy for our date?👀"
I smirk knowing my plan worked & text him back "Yumi😊: like?" "Mingi💗: love. but I'm almost at ur house is the parents around?" "Yumi😊: when are they not? but wait why?" "Mingi💗: I wanna come inside this time" "Yumi😊: no need I'll walk outside just text me." "Mingi💗: we've known each other since forever & I haven't seen your parents in a while plus it's good manners to say hi to my godparents" I sigh rolling my eyes. "Yumi😊: you win. like always!!" "Mingi💗: MINGI WINS ONCE AGAIN👑👑" I groan at how much of a dork this boy is. "Texting your little boyfriend??" I hear behind me causing me to jump a little. "Luna don't do that!" I say grabbing onto my chest trying to steady my breath again. "soooo were you??" she asks me again wiggling her eyebrows. "why don't you meddle in Daemin's business?" I ask her and she scoffs. "He's a child still and you're the oldest so it's my job to do that-" she says and grabs my phone out of my hand. "Haha see" she adds and shoves my phone in my face. I see our texts. "So? It's not like our relationship is a secret" I say shrugging and she mocks me. "Love is gross" she says handing me back my phone. "Don't say that you might find a nice boy one day-" "Ok I'm leaving.." she says cutting me off and leaves my room. I raise a eyebrow but shrug it off. her hormones are off the roof recently. - [a little while later] I hear a knock on the door downstairs. I rush to the door hoping no one will grab the door before me. but at last. my father catches the door before me. "Oh-" "Hello Mingyu my how you've changed" my dad says "Hello uncle" Mingyu says bowing politely. how cringe for him to call my dad uncle while we're dating each other. "You look well" he adds and my dad chuckles. "Come in son..so how's college hunting going?" He asks him and I raise a eyebrow at him. has he forgotten about me already? I exist here too. he glances at me and grabs me. "My love." He whispers in my ear and twirls me around. "Aish you lovebirds" Luna groans rolling her eyes at us. "Lulu be nice one day he might be your brother in law!" My mom says and I let out a cough loudly to clear the air. "I missed you" I say nuzzling my head into him. He smiles warmly. "I missed you too. oh uncle I haven't forgotten to answer you..I'm thinking of attending either NYU or Stanford." He says calmly. my eyes widen hearing those words escape his mouth. "St-Stanford when did this happen?" I say "Well father said it's best for my education plus it's one of the best for law." He says "You're gonna study law?" I ask him "Of course. I want to be a lawyer one day.." he says "And you're a smart man!" My mom says patting his back. while I'm in shock not knowing what to say. not knowing if I should let my emotions take over & lash out. or support me like I also want to. my emotions aren't irrational,I just got him. I don't wanna lose him. he's gonna move to California maybe and it might end us. "Shall we get going?" He says winking at me. I snap out of it. remembering this is our date and nothing. not even him possibly leaving to a whole new stage is gonna ruin our night. - [ a little while later ] we are sitting at a diner eating food when he suddenly grabs my hand. "let's get away" he says "Stop talking nonsense" I say and he looks at me with a "I'm not kidding" look plastered on his face. "Mingi-" "Just for tonight,let's pretend there's nobody but us in this world. " he says "It's always going to be us tho" I say "Yes but.." He pulls out his phone and opens Google Maps. he hands me it. "pick a place" he says "this is so sudden" I say "do you trust me?" He asks me. "Of course I do." I say smiling. I grab the phone and type in the Empire State Building. he smiles and we get ready for our journey. we hop in his car after eating rapidly,we drive off into Manhattan. we arrive at the Empire State Building. We get a small tour of the building before we take a elevator going up. as we go up,we hold hands. I glance at him once in a while to see he's enjoying himself. we reach halfway and walk out to take a look. "wait stand right there!" He says and I pose. a hand on my hip and I smile big. "My model" he says in awe before snapping the photo. "I'M ON TOP OF THE WORLD" he shouts and it echoes. I laugh and he grabs both of my hands. "Yumi...there's something I wanna say" he says "Yes Mingi?" I say "I love you." He blurts out and the whole world felt like it went stand still. we were the only ones moving at regular pace. nothing existed but us standing holding hands. It was like flowers bursted inside of me hearing those words. butterflies emerging in my stomach. my heartbeat going rapid. my breath,stuck in my throat. everything felt unreal. but with a small pinch I realize it's reality. All of it. he chuckles and rubs my hand after I winced from pinching it. "I love you too" I blurt out. He grabs me and holds me. I feel weightless. I'm floating entwined with him. two becoming one from just this one hold. this one touch. one hug. he backs away for one second and lifts my chin up with one finger. "Do you trust me?" He asks me but this time it comes out raspy and more sensual than the last time. I nod now feeling empty minded at this point. He leans in and our lips collide. slowly. gentle and tender. imaginary roses circling around us. my eyes close as I feel goosebumps form on my skin. I've never felt this before. he moves away and look at me worriedly. my love high comes down and I smile at him. "was that our...MY first kiss?" I ask him "Y-yea why did it suck?" He asks me scratching the back of his head nervously. "No...I liked it" I say blushing. "Then here's your second one from me" he says and kisses me again this time my feet nearly lifting off the ground. I never felt a love like this,I never wanna let go. - [ TO BE CONTINUED..] - Hello everyone!! It's Reina! I was supposed to post this chapter 2 days ago but I was on a mini vacation so I couldn't update since I had zero WiFi! but at last I'm back! with a new chapter. in this one we see Mingyu's aspirations of becoming a lawyer and Yumi's concerns of their relationship after hearing his plans. we also see the young couple share their first kiss. I wanna thank you for all the love & support on the entire 7 men and a baby series. we're now on book 3 & this book is entirely about Yumi's teenage life or at least a glimpse into a year of it.
