Love at it's Finest

Part 12

   Hardin's POV

It's been 4 days since I found out it was molly at fault for Tessa's crash and I have finally figured out what to do with molly. My lawyer and I talked and I have a good case. The money we make of of the case is going to be used to pay for Tessa's medical bills when Tessa is awake and out off the hospital. 

I arrive at the hospital to go see Tessa as always, I drop the twins off at daycare and make my way up to Tessa's room it takes me about 15 mins because I had to talk to the nurse at the daycare center. When I walk into her room I notice something weird, Tessa isn't in the bed I walk around her room and didn't see her anyway I begin to get a little worried because this isn't normal. I walk outside her room when I see a nurse walking towards the room 

"Mr Scott?" The nurse startles me.

"Hi Rose where is Tessa?" She keeps a straight face 

"Follow me" I follow her onto the 5th floor when we walk into a room where I see the twins and Tessa playing with them. 

"Tessa?!" Tessa turns around with a huge smile on her I run up to her and pull her into a hug 

"I missed you so much" 

"I know baby, I know"

"How long have you been awake?" 

"Since Yesterday, I've had several tests done, the nurses told me you always come at the same time so I decided to surprise you." I squeeze her so tight 

"I love you so much, I was so worried about" 

"I love you to" I kiss her and thank god she is awake. 

"Tessa I need to tell you something." 

"What is it" 

"Joseph said his first word" Tessa's eyes water up 

"What was it" 

"Mama" She starts crying and I can imagine why 

"Are you ok?" 

"Yea I'm just happy and sad I mean my baby boy said his first word and I missed it but at the same time it was mama" 

"I wish you could have heard him" 

"Me too." The nurse comes back into the room 

"Tessa we need to run a few more tests before we can sign you discharge papers." 

"Ok" Tessa replies 

"Wait she can leave soon" I ask in shock.

"Yes sir within 1 to 2 days" Thank god. They leave the room and I decide to play with the twins.

       2 days later

Tessa is finally leaving the hospital today and I am beyond excited I'm so happy she is finally coming home. I walk into the room and help Tessa pack her bag 

"I'm happy I finally get to go home" 

"Me too Tess" We finish packing her bag and walk into the ER area so we can check out 

"Ok Tessa make sure you come back in 1 month for a check up" 

"I will thank you so much" 

"No problem love" We walk out and get in the car. The kids are with Landon because I want to spend the day with Tessa, and I need to tell her about Molly.

"So Tess I need to tell you something" 

"What's wrong?" 

"So um I found out who caused your accident, and it was molly. My lawyer said we have a great case so I'm suing her for attempted Murder" 

"When is the court date?" 

"May 31" 

"Jesus that's only 2 weeks from now" 

"I know it's a lot to handle Tessa I'm sorry" She smiles and grabs my hand 

"I love you Hardin" 

"I love you." After spending the full day together we picked up the twins and are one the way home. We pull up to the house and I grab the twins and Tessa carries her bags I opened the door and Tessa's face lit up. 

"I'm home" 

"Yes you are" 

"I'm going to put the twins to bed I'll be right back" I say before walking to the nursery, I lay the twins down and kiss them goodnight. 

"Goodnight Joseph" 

"Goodnight Bebe" Brooklyn smiles she loves it when I call her Bebe. I walk back into me and Tessa's room to find her already change and sitting on the bed, I quickly change and lay next to her. I grab her by the waist and hold her close 

"Goodnight my love" 

"Goodnight Baby" I close my eyes and for the first time in weeks am going to bed happy.
