Chapter 1: Enrolling

Third Person's pov

"Y/n! Your brother is calling!" Mom shouted from downstairs.

Y/n smiled widely in excitement and quickly left her studies to go talk to her brother. She wasted no time grabbing the cellphone from her mom and put it against her ear.

"Yeoboseyo? Tae?" Y/n called out and she heard him let out his signature laugh.

"Little sister! It's great to hear from you again! How are you?" He greeted him.

"Hold on let me turn on my camera." He said and y/n opened hers to see her brother the same.

Her smile faded away into a frown. Taehyung has a bruise on his left cheek that was not noticeable. But it's been months since she last saw her brother. She definitely noticed it.

"What happened to you? Did someone hurt you?" Y/n asked completely concerned.

Taehyung shrugged it away with a laugh and turned his head slightly to the left, covering the bruise.

"It's nothing y/n~ssi. I just fell on the floor this morning." He knew it was a lame excuse but he still said it. Taehyung didn't want to worry his twin by a mistake he did.

"Aigo this pabo." Y/n teased oblivious about taehyung lying. She was so focused on telling her brother what happened to her the last few weeks.

They both talked for hours non-stop. Y/n told Taehyung about her grades and schoolworks. Taehyung compared their lessons and them reminiscing the past where they are living in the same household.

Their parents are divorced so Taehyung had to live with his father while y/n in her mom's. They couldn't see each other due to school works and how Taehyung's in a boarding school.

"How long has it been?" Taehyung asked.

"It's been 4 hours straight. Wow you really do miss me h-"

Taehyung chuckled cutting her off. "Pabo. I mean, how many years since we've been seperated?"

Y/n got speechless counting months. Years. She lets out a dry chuckle before she told him the years.

"8 years and counting I guess bro." Y/n said amd they both sighed.

"Is mom doing okay over there? I miss her." He said

"She's okay now. This morning she went to the hospital for a checkup. Everything was still normal so I didn't worry much."

Taehyung smiled. "I'm glad."

"Y/n It's been 4 hours and It's already 10 pm. I think I should sleep now since i have a morning class tomorrow."

Y/n sighed disappointedly but nodded. She didn't want to stress her twin.

"Arraseo. Study well okay?" She reminded and taehyung chuckled again.

"Tell mom to take her medicine on time. And take care y/n. Bye."

When taehyung hung up y/n felt alone again. The only friend she had when she was a kid was her brother, Taehyung.

He would protect her from bullies and help her in their studies. But when their parents got divorced their life completely changed.

But y/n changed for the worse when she got a call the next morning..

Present Day

"Mom I would rather die. Besides I don't want to live with dad." Y/n said dramatically after placing the last box of clothing in her car.

"Why not? He needs someone to attend to him y/n." Her mother said closing the car trunk facing her daughter.

"I still have school. I have to attend classes so I won't be able to go to him. It also has a dorm so I will be living there."

Mom sighed and hugged y/n.

"Take care okay? Don't stress too much and always pray everynight before going to bed." She reminded her and y/n smiled sadly before embracing her mother.

"Yes mom. I would come visit you often okay? We can both visit brother in the cemetery when I do." She pulled away from her mom and held both her hands.

"Don't forget to drink your medicine mom. Or else I'll come back here and act like an 8 year old child for the rest of your life."

She laughed and pushed y/n to the driver's seat. "Go before you get late to enroll."

y/n smiled for real and went inside her car. when she turned on the engine she saw the reflection of her mom on the mirror making her smile.

She honked as a goodbye and drove away to seoul.

She watched as her mom getting farther away. She only took off her eyes on the mirror when she was no longer to be seen.

Her face turned serious and took out her phone letting her car(Tesla) drive by itself.

When she unlocked her phone she went to her photos and scrolled all the way to the top. The very first picture was her and taehyung when they were kids. She smiled warmly at the image.

"I miss you tae.. I promise, I will let them suffer like how they made you suffer." She said seriously and swiped left to see the picture of taehyung's friend group. Taehyung sent it to her the night he offed himself.

Y/n didn't know who all these people are. But it was sent to her the night her twin died. So they must have had a connection to his prior death.

"I'll take care of them brother..."

"Yes my mom has emailed you everything you should know about me." Y/n said appropriately.

"Very well Ms. Kim. Here is your dorm key. Your roommate is also a new student so you two might want to get to know each other before school starts. It starts in two weeks." The secretary said handing y/n a key.

She took it and bowed before leaving the office. When she did she wiped the smile off her face and walked scanning her surroundings.

She looked on her left to see a guy making fun of a guy with glassses and braces.

Y/n got annoyed by the scene but continued walking.

She looked besides the scene to see a girl flirting with another girl by the lockers. She had cat eyes that could easily make you give in to her desires.

Y/n turned her head to the right to see a woman with a full uniform ordering a much more taller student who has a 'water bottle'. The girl with the full uniform, Jihyo was on her name tag, was scolding, Seulgi, also the name tag.

When she looked by the left again she saw two boys by a locker talking suspiciously. One of the boys saw y/n and frowned like he knows her.

A gorgeous woman was walking towards her with a smile on her face. She has make up on and her legs were showing making it hard for y/n to focus on her task.

She met the girls' eyes and it stayed that way until they both passed each other. Y/n stopped and looked back. The girl was still walking on her high heels like she owns the school and every boy and girl was drooling on her. Even
y/n.

All of that was mentioned, y/n was familiar with due to the picture.

Y/n shook her head and continued to go to her dorm. The staff already put her bags and stuff in there so she didn't have to worry as much.

The school was like any other. Making it easy for y/n to take over.

'For my brother.. Anything for him.'
