🎭Julain x Reader: Magic

Start from the beginning

"Oh no." Julian said. Then he had the  bright idea to make a run for it, so that's what he did. He ran for the door the guards were standing at. Julain being Julain managed to escape because he's a slippery man. He ran and he just kept running.

"Alright Faust! Today's the day, I'm gonna ask." You said to Faust.

"Y/n!! Open the door please." Asra yelled from the otherside of the door.

"Coming!" You yelled as you ran to the door. You took off the protection spells and unlocked the door. Asra walked in.

"Hi Asra, welcome home." You said as you closed the door behind Asra.

"I don't know how you do it, how you run the shop all day long." Asra said.

"Oh it's nothing." You said with a chuckle. Asra smiled at you.

"Um so Asra, I was wondering if i could go out while you're gone, I mean it gets boring here sometimes, and there's a masquerade coming up soon and I kinda want to go but you're always-"

"Blah, blab, blah, .... blah. It's very annoying. I'm just teasing, you're adorable." Asra cut you off.

"I wanna go to the masquerade." You said.

       "Oh" Asra said.

"It only happens once a year and you're always gone. I need to go." Asra smiled at you and then walke over to you and put their hands on your shoulders.

"You want to go outside when I'm gone?" Asra asked and you nodded.

"Oh Y/n." Asra put their hand under your chin. Then walked you over to a mirror.

"Look at you, as fragile as a flower.
Still a little sapling, just a sprout. You know why you stay inside this shop." Asra said.

       "I know-"

"To keep you safe and sound, dear. Guess I always knew this day was coming. Know that soon you'd want to leave, the shop. Soon but not yet. Shhh... " Asra moved over and closed all the windows in the shop.

"But-" Asra cut you off again.

"Trust me pet, master, knows best." Asra had all the windows shut to the entire building was dark. You found a candle and lit it so you could see.

"Master knows best, listen to your master, it's a scary world out there." Asra moved to the side and pulled your hair a bit causing the candle to go out.

"Master knows best. One way or another, something will go wrong, I swear."

       "Ahh!"

"Ruffians, thugs, poison ivy, quicksand. Cannibals, and snakes," Asra showed up behind you holding a lantern that glowed red.

       "The plague."

        "No!"

"Yes! Also large bugs, men with pointy teeth. And stop, no more, you'll just upset me." Asra noticed that you seemed scared so they lit some candles on the stair where they were standing.

"Master's right here, master will protect you. Darling here's what I suggest. Skip the drama stay with master. Master knows best." Woth one movement Asra blew out all the candles and disappeared. You started to light some cladles to see.

"Master knows best. Take it from your master. On your own, you won't survive." Asra was putting out the candles as you lit them. You ended up back at the mirror where you started.

"Sloppy underdressed, immature, clumsy, please, they'll eat you up alive." Asra said from behind the mirror. They came out and grabbed your hand and spun you.

"Gullibe, nave, positively grubby, ditzy and a but, well, vague." Asra started to tap your chin.

"Plus I believe, getting kinda chubby." They held your head in their hand. " I'm just saying, 'cause I love you." Asra let you go then disappeared again.

"Master understands, masters here to help you." A light turned on and Asra was standing under it.

"All I have is one request." You ran over to Asra and hugged them.

       "Y/n?"

      "Yes?"

"Don't ever ask to leave this shop without me again." Asra said, sounding a little aggravated.

"Yes, master." You said quietly. Asra lit the candles with magic and started to back away from you and towards the door.

"Don't forget it. You'll regret it. Masterrrrrrrrr. Knows best." Asra said as they got to the door.

"I'll see you in a bit Y/n." Asra waved and walked out the door.

"I'll be here." You said after they left.
