Team Avatar was settled at the Western Air Temple and Aang hasn't shown a smile since he lost Aya. She hasn't left his mind, he tries to forget, but she keeps running through his brain. He failed, not only did he fail everyone, he failed his Angel. He couldn't keep her safe, he failed at keeping her protected.

The moon was casting down on the temple and Aang was sitting on the ledge of one of the structures. Everyone was asleep, but Aang was wide awake, thinking of his angel. He looked up at shining moon and felt tears leave his eyes.

Aya turns her head and gazes out the small window she was given. She was heavily breathing every few seconds and couldn't find any sign of happiness, she felt lost. Her gold eyes were captured by the moon that was casted in the night sky, somewhere she knew Aang was staring at the same thing she was.

The moon

The moon may not make her the most powerful with her firebending, but it still gave her some sort of hope of finding her Avatar and everyone else she loves.

(Aya)
When the shadows unfold
When the sun hides its gold
When the wind and the cold comecalling
Whenthe path isn'tclear
And the stars disappear
As an endlessmidnight's falling

(Aang)
At the edge of the sky
There's a moon hanging high
When you're lost
It'll try to remind you

(Aya)
On a dark desert night
You can look to the light
Cause it's shining there
To find you

(Both)
Desert moon light the way
Till the dark turns to day
Like a lamp in the lonely night
Bright and blue
Desert moon
Wild and free
Will it burn just for me?

(Aya)
Shine down

(Aang)
Shine down

(Both)
Till I find my way to you

(Aang)
At the edge of the sky
There's a moon hanging high
When you're lost you can try the view

(Both)
'Cause it waits for you there
And if you see it too

(Aya)
I can find my way

(Aang)
I can find my way

(Both)
I can find my way
To you

Aang and Aya both gazed at the moon.

"I love you, Aang."

"I love you, Aya."
