The first part of the journey to Tortuga was slightly eventful as can be expected when Will is in the vicinity of a pirate. Which is why I found it so ironic when Jack told him that he was the son of a pirate. He seemed completely shocked.

"I can't be the son of a pirate," Will said slightly to himself and slightly to me in disbelief whilst I was steering the ship.

"It's not that bad, is it? I mean I am the daughter of a pirate and I'm alright aren't I?" I asked and Will looked up at me with a look of confusion and anger. Shit.

"You told me your parents were dead," Will replied the anger taking over the confusion.

"Well, what was I supposed to do? Say Hi I'm Celeste and by the way my fathers a pirate but don't worry I have no clue who my mother is so she might not be a pirate. Yeah, that would go over well with royal bloody navy wouldn't it?" I said angrily.

Will seemed mildly taken aback by my outburst and said nothing. I couldn't help but get a little frustrated at his naïvety on the subject.

"She's got a point there mate. It wouldn't have done her any good," Jack said and Will went to go do something around the ship not wanting to speak to me anymore.

"So how does a pirate's daughter end up in Port Royal?" Jack asked standing next to me and looking out at the sea.

"We were attacked by a Navy ship in the night. I went to shoot at them, stood upon the rail, a cannon blew out the floor from under me, I went overboard. My father left me for dead in the water. The Navy ship picked me up and took me to port royal," I explained bluntly.

"Shame. You make a good pirate, I can tell. I am an excellent judge of character," Jack said smiling. I rolled my eyes jokingly. Jack then told me the story of the mutiny against him and how he was left for dead on an island. But in the end, he was lucky because he didn't have a share in the curse that the rest of his old crew now did.

"Now. I think dear William deserves to hear your story too," Jack said slightly more serious.

"You're right," I said letting Jack take the wheel before I went to go find Will. I paused for a moment.

"You know you're the first person I have ever told about that. Everyone else who ever asked I had no choice but to lie to," I said surprised with my openness around a man that I had not known for very long.

I quickly went off to find Will after that and found him just sitting around at the bow of the ship.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you," I said sitting down next to him.

"I didn't want to throw away my one chance of having a decent life and once I had you and Liz as friends I didn't want to ruin it," I explained.

"I don't blame you it just surprised me. Although come to think of it. It shouldn't really if anything it makes sense," he laughed and I joined him.
"So friends?" I asked.

"Friends," he agreed. The rest of the journey was uneventful just filled with random conversation trying to pass the time although I would say that Jack and I learnt a fair bit about each other and it made me trust him more.

Once we got off The Pearl we went to a bar but before we got there Jack had been slapped by at least two women which didn't surprise me in the slightest.

Eventually, we got to our destination only to wake up a man who was sleeping with pigs who did not seem too pleased to be woken up. Will then threw another bucket of water over him.

"Blast I'm already awake," he shouted.

"That was for the smell mate," I explained. He accepted it. After that, they went off for a drink and Will and I were left to stand around. He looked extremely uncomfortable. I was alright having been here before in my younger years. I snuck closer to Jack and the man I learned to be called Gibbs.

"What are you doing?" Will whispered.

"Trying to eves drop."

"that's rude."

"Pirate."

"...fair point," Will then joined me in trying to discreetly listen to their conversation.

We quickly looked away when they looked in our direction but we managed to overhear something about leverage but we didn't know what that meant. Jack then beckoned us over rather impatiently.

"So do we have a plan?" I asked eagerly.

"Well, technically Luv this is the end of our agreement. It is only Will here who I still have to take with me."

"Well tough. Elizabeth is my friend and I want to save her and besides deals can change,"
"Well. What if I don't want to change our deal?"

"We can always make a new one. For example," I said putting a gun to Jack's head.

You can take me with you and make me part of your crew or I can blow your brains all over this wall," I said gesturing behind the jack. Jack looked worriedly at the gun in his face.

"Well that's more of an ultimatum Luv but you wouldn't hurt poor Jack now would ya?"

"Well if you allow me to join you, crew, I won't," I replied.

"Your bluffing you don't have in ya to kill," Jack said attempting to try and lower my gun. I cocked the gun and put it closer to his head. He looked straight at the gun going slightly cross eyes in the process.

"Try me."

He looked more worried now.

"Fine, you can join me, crew."

"See that wasn't so hard was it?" I replied walking off to go get a drink from the bar.

"Bet the gun wasn't even loaded," I heard Jack say assuredly to Will and Gibbs. I pointed the gun upwards and shot the bullet that nearly went into Jack's head into the ceiling.

"Wrong," I called in an overly cheery voice over my shoulder.

"I think you've finally found someone as mad as you Jack," Gibbs commented.

"Aye. That's what scares me."

The next day met the crew who looked like a bit of an odd bunch. Jack went along them inspecting them individually and ended up quite oddly questioning a parrot. He moved across the crew until he came to a woman.

"Annamaria," he said cheerfully only to be slapped.

"Honestly Jack you really have a way with women," I said to him sarcasm dripping from every word. I turned my attention to AnnaMaria.

"Sorry about him. What did he do?"
"He stole. my. boat," she said bitterly towards Jack.

"With every intention of bringing it back," he defended. I hit him over the back of the head knocking his hat off.

"Oi, what was that for?" He asked picking his hat off the ground and Annamaria smiled at me.

"Lying," I replied curtly.

After that Will managed to get Jack to agree to give Annamaria the interceptor after the whole ordeal was over. We set sail and I chatted with Anna, she said her friends can call her that, for a while.

After I went to go find Gibbs who was talking to Will about Jacks escape from the island he was marooned on and how he escaped. Jack chimes in at the end saying something about sea turtles and ropes of...human hair? I had stopped paying attention. As much as I liked Jack the way he escaped seemed quite far fetched. Jack went to take over steering the ship. He took out his compass and look at it quizzically then at me.

"Celeste Luv, come over here would ya,". I obeyed and stood beside him. Jack hit his compass and then it was pointing in a direction I was certain wasn't north.

"We have our heading!" he declared.

Jack insisted that I stay by him for the rest of the journey. He kept on looking at his compass, looking at me and hitting the compass and saying I know what I want.
