When Abigail was 3-years old, Angelica was at her wits end with Jack's recklessness and left him with Abigail. At first Jack wanted to leave her in Tortuga and sail away but he changed his mind at the last minute and kept her. 7 years and Abigail STILL resents her mother for what she did. But if she thinks that her mother abandoning her was bad, then she hasn't met Jack's family.

Several Pirates begin to look for her and hunt her down hearing she is the sea mistress and jack even went to toying with her feelings to only use her for his greed.
