A Different World
Place me by the stars
I am tired of the stares
I cant do it anymore
The world has changed
I have everyone at my feet
Just at the tip of my fingers and toes
But no one is actually there
No one to rely on
I have friends
The best are the ones I havent met
We share secrets without end
Because they cant use it against me
And others are just akin to me
Broken lonely and alone
I have issues and scars
Many left by people who own cars
Because they drove our happiness in cars
The world is blind to humanity
With its eyes ready to humiliate humility
Poke and destroy without dignity
Lets hold hands
And embrace humanity
Just to be there for someone
Not even for everyone
But kind, loving and caring
To oneself and the others
