Chapter 38 ♔

I looked at him with a slight smile, "Hey...don't feel bad, it's totally fine. We were in the heat of the moment so none of us saw that coming. Also, she was threatening to tell your parents that we were fake dating and to go on with the arranged marriage between you and her. You had no choice but to kiss me. And besides, I kinda...liked it..." I whispered the last part, a blush creeping onto my face once again. 

Jihoon flinched at my words, his face indicating clear shock about what I just said, "W-Wait...what?! Y/N...w-w-what did you just say??!!" his face turning red once again.

I jumped in shock as I stared back at him with an equally embarrassed expression, "H-Huh?! Oh...I-I said that it's okay. You had no other choice so I'm not mad at you for doing that."

"N-No...not that. I meant...the last part. W-What did you just say? S-Say it again for me. Please noona, I wanna hear it again," he stated, stepping closer to me.

I sighed in frustration. Ugh...why did I have to say that? This is so embarrassing...

I looked up at Jihoon's face which was covered in a crimson blush. Anticipation, excitement, and hope was etched all over his face as I saw him gulp in nervousness.

I gulped as well, indicating that I was also nervous. My heart began beating faster.

I took a deep breath before shyly looking into Jihoon's eyes, "I-I said that I liked it. The kiss...I liked-no...I loved it. It felt so good Jihoon...it made my heart race and I felt butterflies in my stomach the entire time. It was the best kiss I ever had...I loved it Jihoon, I loved it," I whispered honestly.

My heart started pounding in my chest and my face harboured a million different shades of crimson as I hesitantly looked up to see Jihoon's reaction, who looked shocked beyond words.

Holy sh*t...was that too much?! Was I too honest?? Oh god, he probably thinks I'm a freak...

My thoughts were interrupted as I felt a pair of soft lips smash against mine. 

My eyes widened and I gasped in shock as I realized that Jihoon was kissing me, again.

His hands were placed firmly on my shoulders as his lips gently pressed against mine. I could once again taste the familiar light hints of strawberry on his lips.

Before I could even react, Jihoon pulled away from me and opened his eyes to look at down at me with an earnest expression, "Y/N...that's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I'm glad you feel that way because...I loved that kiss too," he said before leaning towards my ear, "That was actually my first kiss...just now was the second. And now that I know how you feel, it's time for a third," he whispered sexily into my ear before returning back to my lips.

As our lips locked against one another's, Jihoon began walking forwards and I began instinctively walking backwards until my back hit the brick wall of the cafe, cornering me against Jihoon's body. 

This time, Jihoon deepened the kiss. I kissed back as I was in the heat of the moment, my lips dancing along with his. Our lips moved in perfect synch, following the rhythm of our heartbeats. 

I felt Jihoon's tongue trace across my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I immediately parted my lips, allowing his tongue to enter my mouth and explore it to his desire. I moaned in pleasure as I felt Jihoon's tongue glide across the roof of my mouth, causing an extremely ticklish feeling to take over me.

Upon hearing my moan, Jihoon groaned and removed his hands off my shoulders to wrap them around my waist instead, pulling me closer to his body. I followed suit and wrapped my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers into his soft brown hair.
