I grunt in pain as I felt someone kicking the side of my stomach.
"Wake up, you unworthy piece of trash. Today is the day the world will know that a garbage like you is becoming Daniel's wife," I heard a harsh voice in my ear.
What the hell? Who is speaking to me like this? Or am I just dreaming?

I felt another kick to my stomach and yelped in pain. That's it, I can't take it anymore.

I was about to raise my voice, but was cut off as they pressed their hand tight against my mouth, blocking out any sounds.
Even though I was half asleep, I forcefully opened my eyes to see who this abusive maniac was. My eyes adjusted to the light, allowing me to get a clear view of the person in front of me.
I gasped as I realized who it was.

I was so confused.I thought Aunt Linda was a nice lady. At least that's what I was told.

Snapping out of it, I tried squirming around my bed, trying to rid myself of her grip. And as expected, I failed. She was just too strong.
