Your P.O.V:
Once we arrived at the Kang Mansion, I thanked Sewoon-sshi for the ride and stepped out of the car.
As soon as I entered the mansion, I was immediately met with Daniel's warm embrace.
Not gonna lie, it took my breath away. Literally.
"Ugh Daniel...I can't breathe," I uttered out.
He ignored me and hugged me even tighter, "You're finally in my arms again. I missed you so much, jagi~ What took you so long?"
I let out a nervous laugh, "Sorry. I know I should've come home sooner. We watched a movie after eating cake so it took a while."
Daniel hummed and we stood in silence for the next few minutes; with me still enveloped in his embrace.
He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck and inhaled the scent of my hair, causing goosebumps to form on my skin.
That's when I noticed something strange.
Was Daniel always this affectionate? He's usually so calm and composed...and a bit distant.
This is the first time I'm seeing Daniel act so clingy.
Is it because of his sickness? Probably.
I've read fanfics where the characters' personality always changes drastically when they get sick. They usually become all clingy and lovey-dovey to their love interest.
Well...if that's the case with Daniel, then I admit I'm kind of enjoying it.
It's really refreshing to see him like this. All cute and clingy, sort of like a puppy XD
After several more minutes of Daniel's bone-crushing hug, I literally started to lose oxygen.
"Daniel...are you planning to let me go anytime soon? I seriously can't breathe," I said and gently placed my hands on his chest to push him away.
Once again, he ignored me and remained steady in his position. He then spoke up, "Y/N...tell me about your day. Did you have fun today? With Jihoon..." he whispered the last bit.
My brows furrowed. Why was he suddenly asking me this?
"Uhm...yeah. I did." I answered.
"So you like him better than me?"
"What? No...that's not true," I retorted.
"Then why do you always leave me to hang out with him? It may be nothing for you...but it hurts me, Y/N.."
I was about to reply, but suddenly, he lifted his head off my shoulder and placed his hand on the back of my head, tangling his fingers through my hair.
I looked at him in question, "Daniel? What are you-"
I was interrupted by the impact of his lips against mine. My eyes widened as he started passionately kissing me.
