"Stop right there, Naomi. Don't touch her," he ordered sternly.

Naomi's eyes widened as she heard Jihoon's voice. Her anger slowly started to dissipate and she began to calm down.

However, the momentary peace was short-lived as Naomi's face was now filled with frustration and betrayal, "Why Jihoon?! Why??!! Why are you defending her??!! Right after I just poured my heart out to you!!"

Jihoon looked at her sternly, "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I'm sorry for not responding the way you want me to. But I'm not gonna stand by and let you assault my girl like that."

My eyes widened and my heart skipped a beat at him referring to me as 'his girl'.

I took several deep breaths and raised my hand over to clutch my chest, where my heart was to feel my rapid heartbeat.

Jihoon...what are you doing to me?

I was interrupted from my daze as I heard the sound of water furiously splashing against a surface.

I looked up to see that Naomi had splashed a nearby glass of water on the table at Jihoon's beautiful face, her face twisted in absolute anger and agony as she glared daggers at Jihoon.

She clenched her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white as she growled at Jihoon, "YOU-YOU...SCREW YOU JIHOON!!! SCREW YOU!! YOU BROKE MY HEART!! TO THINK I ACTUALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!!! I WAS ACTUALLY GETTING EXCITED FOR OUR WEDDING AND ALREADY COMING UP WITH NAMES FOR OUR FUTURE BABY!! AND HERE YOU ARE, MAKING OUT WITH THIS UGLY BITCH OVER YOURS!!!"

Jihoon looked shocked for a second before glaring at her, "Hey! I get you're mad at me, but don't you dare call my Y/N a bitc-"

"SHUT UP!!! WHY DO YOU KEEP DEFENDING HER??!! I get it you love her but...ugh!! You know what? Screw this!! I'm outta here!! Have fun with your girlfriend since you love her so much!!" she declared as she snatched her purse and jacket off the chair and stomped towards the entrace, turning around to give us one last glared before charging out the door, slamming it shut.

Jihoon and I were frozen in place as we stared at the door in shock, still shaken up by the events that occurred mere seconds ago.

After a few seconds, I snapped out of it. I walked over to Jihoon and placed my hand on his shoulder, "Hey...you alright?"

He flinched a bit before turning towards me, his softening as they landed on my face, "Yeah, I'm good, noona," he softly smiled.

I observed his face and a small chuckle escaped from my lips, "Woah! She didn't hold back when she splashed that entire glass of water on you, huh? Your face looks like the Niagara falls hehe~"

Jihoon blushed and looked away, "Ugh...that caught me by surprise. I can't believe she embarrassed me like that in front of you. I'm sorry you had to see that.."

I shook my head and smiled, "Nah, it's all good! Look on the bright side! We got rid of all three blind dates! Now you're a free man, Jihoon! No more arranged marriage for you~"

His face brightened, "Yeah!! I can't believe we actually did it! It's all thanks to you, noona! I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much," he gave me a cute eye-smile filled with happiness.

I returned his smiled and reached up to ruffle his hair, "No problem kid! It's my pleasure. Now, let me clean that Niagara falls off your face," I giggled and grabbed a small white towel from a nearby table and got on my tippy-toes to wipe his face.

I placed one hand on his cheek to balance myself while using my other hand to clean his face. I gently dabbed the towel across his cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead, careful not to miss a spot.
