This time, it isn't just the voice. It's his face. It's cold. Somehow, they managed to add edges to the round face I've come to know and love. His jaw has a phantom sharpness to it. Somehow, he looks cruel. This isn't him. I know it isn't. I know it isn't him. But there's a part of my mind that says that it is. That he thinks these things about me. That's the part of me that I've shut off.
They call me pathetic. They're getting repetitive.
I thank them. I'm getting repetitive.
The words are spoken with his voice, the smile is on his face.
